Shutoku vs Seirin pt. 3

Tanya's POV 

   They kept talking about all these unreliable ways to win, till they got their spirits back. As we all walked out of the locker room i glanced at kagami, and i was not happy with what i saw. His eyes were distant, and he looked brutally meaner. Kuroko was put on the bench and mitobe came back in putting me on takao for awhile. As we just start the thir quarter takao starts talking to me. "Gotta say wasnt expecting a gal like you to pull a stunt like that. I'm surprised, you even escaped my eyes. What i wanna know is how did you do that?" He said i merely glanced at him. "A hawk eye is strong, but sadly i know how to counter it and midori. As well as your slower on your left side." I said that and in a blink i was gone from his sights. 

     To say he was mad was an understatement, but it was funny nonetheless. He stole the ball from hyuga and got it to midorima. Kagami jumped in front of him while i was near the basket again and right as i was about to jump i got blocked by otsubo. "Sorry I can't let you pull that stunt again. I'm honored to meet the queen of miracles, but we can't allow you to win." He said as the ball went in. I scoffed getting angry, but that nickname I've never heard of it before, unless  it was before the accident. 

   Another few moments and midori as the ball again, but this time kagami does the only thing i thought i could. He touched the the shot. 'Wait a minute. His legs he has the gift of jumping. I see this will be hard to get use to, but nothing like training to get it ready.' I thought as the landed on the hoop. This kept going, and in honesty  when he got the ball again i was surprised so i decided to help out. Takao was just about to do a screen till i got in his way, and kagami ran to midori and was able to touch the ball again. "Well damn looks like i wont be the only one anymore." I said quietly, but seems like takao heard me. "What do you mean only one?" He asked confused, but i smirked at him. "Why the one one who could possibly ever jump high enough to block those shots." I said and he got scared.

    I was close to him as i felt his aura and quite frankly i hated it. It reminded me of someone, 'Aomine' i thought and remembered the memory i just got back of the anger. 'This isn't what i want to see in him at all. As i saw him block midori's shot then run to the basket to block the dunk I couldn't look at him the same. He had the ball and pressured all of shutoku and I couldn't stomach that. In mere time he got us to single digits, and midorima had the ball, and as kagami tried to jump he couldn't. I moved on my own to right behind him and jumped and grabbed the ball. Landing i was behind kagami, i heard midori gasp and even take a step back. My bangs covered my eyes, as i dribbled slowly passed him i started speaking. "Your a dumbass, i dont give a damn if you think your good if you play alone ill show you that you wont." I said and ran towards the basket and jumped making a dunk stronger than anything I've done before on seirin. 

   As i let go of the rim and landed on the ground i heard the basket wobble a little, but it didn't break. 

Kasamatsu's  POV 

   The audience went silent after seeing that burst of power. "Has she always been that strong?" I asked and turned towards kise who looked quite scared right now. "Hey what's wrong with you?" "The only other time she has ever been this mad we got a glimpse of what she could really do, and to say we were terrified was an understatement. The only other time she would start cussing like this is when she got mad at us in Teiko, about not playing like a team anymore and if i had to guess he reminder her of the first person who changed." He said shaking like a leaf. I was surprised. 'So even now she hasnt gone full power yet. Wonder why?' 

Midorima's  POV 

    I was too scared to move for a few moments after seeing her like that again. 'I believe that what caused this is the change in kagami. I hope she doesn't get any angrier, otherwise we might not be able to stop her.' I thought as she walked by us. I flinched again as she looked our way again, but i couldn't see her eyes. "Uh shin-Chan you okay?" Takao said snapping me out of my daze as i still stood with fear in my eyes.  As we continued she kept blocking my team and hitting down my shots much faster than kagami ever could. The quarter soon ended and i was horrified as to what could happen over at her bench.

    "Midorima you still haven't even relaxed is everything okay?" Takao asked getting the attention of our team. "No its not, because what we have seen is barely her even scratching the surface of her abilities, much less her full power." I said and they all gasped. I glanced over and she was far from calm now.

Tanya's POV 

     I couldn't even believe his arrogance. 'Damn." He yelled "calm down you need to keep your eyes open." Izuki said and now he was going off of how team play wouldn't mattered. I had enough, but before i could kuroko punched him straight in the jaw. I was surprised, "kuroko?!" I said kagami got right back up and grabbed kuroko's shirt. "You can't play basketball yourself." "So as long as we play nice you dont care about losing. There's no point to any of this if we dont win!!" "Then there's no point if you win this all alone. You said you want to beat the generation of miracles, but yet your thinking just like they do." Kuroko and kagami argued. 

   "Look if we win against shutoku, but can't trust each other, then none of us will walk out of here happy the fruit of victory will taste rancid." He said to kagami. I saw kagami getting ready to punch him and I didn't think i just moved. Pushing kuroko out of the way "stop being so naive!" Kagami said before landing the punch on my jaw. I fell backwards hard landing on my ass. I was too angry right now to move, but i forced myself to move anyways. I got up balling up my left fist tightly and swung. I heard him fall backwards and looked at him with pure utter rage. "Then what is fucking victory if you can't trust you own damn teammates thinking that you have to do it by your frciken self! No one here knows what that pain feels like better than kuroko and i! You ass i dont give a damn if you have anger here and there, but never, and i mean never will you lay a hand on any of your teammates, just because you think team play wont work." I yelled at him as he was on the ground i went to the edge of the bench and sat down

    My anger was through the roof, and sadly I didn't want to play while i was angry, something inside me was telling me to never play like that again, and this time i listened. "Tanya." I heard my name but I didn't respond. "Let's let her cool off, i dont think she wants to play like this, so kuroko I'm subbing you back in." Riko said and they went off i sighed, not wanting to watch this anymore. "Tanya they're playing like a team now, do you want to watch." Furihata said slightly afraid. I sighed trying to calm down more and looked at him softly and responded. "Sure, but doesn't mean ill forgive kagami anytime soon." I said softly and he relaxed as they started. I was surprised that he was actually working with the team. 

   Soon enough it was only  up to kuroko and I'm glad. He finally got away from takao. As kagami ran towards the basket the ball was basically punched by kuro. I smiled a little. "What was that?" Furihata asked and i responded, "that was a speed pass. Most of his passes change the direction, but this one speeds up the ball making it fly faster. This pass was one that generation of miracles and myself could catch I'm surprised he's not complaining about his hand hurting." I said as they watched kagami dunk the ball.  

*Meanwhile at a distant school*

"I'm bored, i don't even want to move. Maybe I'm getting old. I want bread." A dark blue haired man said as he held a basketball on his finger. "Did you fake being sick to skip another game." A pinked hair girl came walking in with a blue Popsicle. "Anyways i heard tetsu and midorin are playing against each other right now, and you know maybe tetsu will win. After all he's the man i fell madly in love with. She said taking a bite of her popsicle. 

*back at the game* 

      Kuroko and the rest of them were able to catch up like it. A time out for shutoku and they started  passing to midori, but those were stopped by kuro. As this continued it was a lot like a run and gun. With only a few seconds hyuga pulls a three making us in the lead. And with three seconds left it seemed over, at least if midori wasn't there. He jumped, but so did kagami. "I believed in you. I believed that you would supass you limit and jump once last time." Midori said as he prepared for a shot, but the ball was knocked out of his hands by kuroko making us win the game with the total being 82:81.  I couldn't be happier with my team.
