Tanya's POV
The end of the game we won 101:100 I couldn't be happier with them. I looked towards Aomine and saw he had his light in his eyes. 'He has the light back finally. Im so proud of this team and Kuro. I-' i couldn't keep my train of thought my legs were feeling like they did after facing Mileena. I couldn't move anymore my legs gave out beneath me but i felt an arm wrap around me quickly pulling me into a chest i know all too well, but now find comfort in. "Hey you okay?" Kagami asked i nodded. "Yes just my legs are little numb. Guess using misdirection for more than a quarter of the game is still unusual for me." I said as i looked at him to see him nod i caught a glimpse of Kuro coming up to us and then we talked to Aomine. "At our last game you kind of left me hanging." He said and i couldnt help, but laugh at the reaction of Daiki. "HUUAAAHH??? That's. Your still upset over that?!?" Its like he couldnt even speak. They give one final fist pump and i smiled.
"Tanya you okay?" Aomine asked me after we lined up and were about to head to the lockers. I looked back to Riko and she nodded knowing it was who i am. "Yes im fine Daiki, just a little tired from using the misdirection as long as i did and being in the zone for as long as i was at the same time." I said and he nodded he said we would meet again and headed out i then went to find the Tōō boys. I heard from their locker room and quietly entered. The third years were not happy, but they held their heads high. "Well im glad you still hold your heads high." I said surprisingly scaring all of them including their coach. "Wait what are you doing in here?!" Wakamatsu said as he was still shaking. I smiled and walked straight up to the third years. " i dont often do this for just any team, but you guys played your hardest and that's what we wanted in the end. Im saying this here and now, that even if you lost or we lost it still a battle worth remembering." I said.
I gave them all hugs and told them all how well they did. "Oh and Sakurai. Great job at making Hyuga play like that keep it up." I said as i gave the said boy a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek that surprisingly made the others jealous. I then left to find my team as they waited for me at the entrance. "Hey you ready?" Riko asked and i nodded. We started to leave, but koganei mentioned wanting to celebrate. Riko was about to say no till Kagami spoke up saying he doesn't live too far. We stopped by a store and grabbed some ingredients and things for desserts. I saw Riko grabbing protein powder, but i stopped her and glared slightly she put it back and we headed out. None of the boys especially Kagami and kuro would let me carry anything including my bag.
"You know im not weak right?" I said in an annoyed tone to all of them. "Yes we do, but with how hard you went and the fact you almost passed out on the court again. We don't want you to strain anything." Kyoshi said and that made me stop. 'They really do care. They really are a family.' I thought as i smiled. When we got to Taiga's apartment, and walked in. It was open, and modern. Though it was bare minimums. "Basketball really is all you think about." Hyuga said as they then tried figuring out where the groceries went we heard Riko in the kitchen. I wanted some fresh air, so i stepped out while everyone else was inside. The view was pretty good, and i got lost in thought of the memory that came back during the game.
*flashback*
"Kuro come on try dribbling like this again." I said as i showed him but i passed him. We both stopped and i heard someone at the door. "Breaking in." I heard a dark blue haired male come in. I saw him flinch. 'Oh boy did that pink haired girl telling him the lonely ball dribbling ghost story again...' i thought as kuro then scared the poor guy by saying hello. As the guy turned around and saw both of us. Kuro then told, Aomine is his name, what we were doing and as he was laughing he then looked back to me in surprise. "Wait you play for the boys team?!" He yelled and stood in front of me looking down as i was slightly shorter than him. "Yes i do, but i dont like being yelled at." I said looking at him. And as time went on he continued to train with us, but kuro wasn't happy. I ran into the gym being a little late and saw the first string, and kuro standing in the middle. "Whoa where'd you come from?!" Mura said, and all the others became surprised I finally figured out what style would work for him the best.
