In your garden...

Dearly departed,

When you expelled
The last breath from your lungs
It sucked the air from
Every corner of the home that entombed you

The sense of weight I bore
Within my breast when
Your jaw rest slightly ajar
Was that time had betrayed you

Just within the home that made me
I gaze upon where you didn't wake
Waves of reality erode my spirit
That all we love must always change

A quiet hum roars violently
Replacing your laughs and your history
"Bless that you are unburdened since",
Cries the tiny flower of your memory
