Dearly departed,
When you expelled
The last breath from your lungs
It sucked the air from
Every corner of the home that entombed youThe sense of weight I bore
Within my breast when
Your jaw rest slightly ajar
Was that time had betrayed youJust within the home that made me
I gaze upon where you didn't wake
Waves of reality erode my spirit
That all we love must always changeA quiet hum roars violently
Replacing your laughs and your history
"Bless that you are unburdened since",
Cries the tiny flower of your memory
