It wasn't enough to say that you were lying on a cloud.  Your body woke before your mind, and you could feel a soft mattress below you that seemed to pull you into it, as well as your head being slightly elevated by something so soft it didn't even feel like it was there.

It took you several attempts to sit up, as the mattress was like quicksand. When you finally regained your senses, yesterday's events flooded in, and the question: 'what happened to Naomi?' spilled into your mind. You didn't see Ichigo anywhere, though the interaction with Ted and Sai from yesterday suggested that Ichigo wasn't even his real name. You swung your legs out of the bed, and noticed that someone had changed you into a different outfit, just simple nightclothes. You froze for a moment, then pulled the elastic of the shorts, checking to make sure that you still had the same underwear on. You would have to ask someone for new clothes later on.

You did what anyone would do in a windowed room, and you gazed through the glass. You didn't get any clues from fields that drew on for miles and mountains in the distance, seemingly blue from the colour of the sky and how far away they were, other than one. You were very far away from where you had started off. The next thing you did, ignoring the walk-in wardrobe and three chests of drawers of various sizes which were all startlingly white like the rest of the room, was walk to the door. You took the knob in your hand, possibly one of the only things that was not white in the room, and was instead glass made to look like a large crystal, and turned it to open the door into a corridor. It too, was white.

You weren't sure where you were, but whoever designed the house had an obsession with the colour white. The carpet was the same as in the room, soft and clean. You walked by three doors on either side of the hallway, none of which you tried to open, and turned right several times to go down a large set of stairs, which spiralled down. There was a room that stretched about twenty by twenty meters, and it combined a kitchen to the furthest of the stairs, with a long table near the centre of the room, and what could be deemed a living room directly across the stairs, housing a dark grey sofa, with grey carpet below it. The room was divided into carpet for the living area and the kitchen/ dining had black tiles under it. The lower floor contrasted greatly with the snow white of the upper floor.

You noticed a page on the table, with some wonky writing on it. Well, not exactly writing, it was dots, and at first you thought it may be morse code, but then realised was laid out in the same patterns as braille. It spelled out: 'went out to buy some things, be back before dark' and there was a lopsided heart on the bottom of the paper.

There wasn't much to do in the house, you found out. There was a TV, but no subscriptions and there was nothing interesting on at this time of day, and the one door to the house was locked. You went back upstairs and looked in the other rooms, but found nothing that would interest you. One was a small room with shelves stuffed with thick books, all of which were written in braille. One was a large bathroom, excessively equipped with a bathtub and a shower, and a stand where a stack of fluffy white towels lay. You decided to take a bath before exploring any further, but when you searched for clothes, you only found ones that would fit Ichigo. Settling with a T-shirt that was too big for you and baggy joggers, you had the best bath of your life. You didn't have anything to dry your hair with, but the upstairs windows opened easily, so you stuck your head out and let your hair dry on the warm breeze, which would have probably been cold if you were still in Kyoto.

The next room seemed like an office, and had a desktop with an expensive looking chair. You sat on the chair and tried to turn on the computer. It had a default wallpaper, and prompted for a password that you did not know. You sighed and turned it off again, then made your way into the next room. This one was a spare room, it would seem, and was not as lavishly decorated as the one you had woken in, though it still followed the white theme of the entire upper floor.

One room was locked, so you didn't waste your time trying to pry the door open, several months in Ichigo's company had taught you better than to do so. The final door opened to a set of smaller stairs that seemed to mimic the main ones. Walking up them, you almost tripped due to the oversized socks on your feet. Not surprisingly, the stairs led to an attic. This one had windows, unlike the one Ichigo had kept you in. A whole wall was composed entirely of smaller windows that made a huge one that let in sufficient natural light that there was no light switch in this area. There was a chaise lounge pressed against the white wall, where there was no windows. There was also a lamp and a small table, housing two books, both braille, and had a mobility cane under it.

It was mostly open space, and the windows did not open. You sat at the edge of the chaise lounge, almost scared to dirty it though you were clean, and gazed at the scenery. If Ichigo could see, then you would understand wanting to gaze at the country sky, but he couldn't, and so you wondered who this was meant for. The first thought was obviously for you, but there were other people it could be for. It could be for Naomi, Ichigo's treasured aunt who you didn't know the fate of, or one of the people at Ichigo's company, since Ichigo was famous in it, there was bound to be other people he was close to.

Until he came back, there was no sure way to know, so you gazed at the sky, stuck in a daydream and you weren't sure you wanted to leave it.
