TW HOMOPHOBIC SLURS

It had been almost 2 weeks since the day Will ran out of Mike's house saying not a word.

Neither of the boys brought it up and Dustin had no reason to do so. But they both were even more awkward around each other, Both couldn't speak a word to the other without freaking out.

Will felt Stupid, he regretted not leaving without saying bye, but he had no confidence to say something about it. He was scared that Mike may make fun of him or something.

Currently Max was on her skateboard, El was laughing every time she fell. Making constant snorting noises and then you'd hear Max yell, "Shut up, Jane!" And El would shoot back " Then stop falling, Maxine!"

Will just kinda watched his friends. Not saying a word, he enjoyed days like this. Ever since Max started dating Lucas, they rarely hung out as just the three of them.

Max continued on, She was determined. Which made the boy intrigued. She would usually give up around this time, Especially in this temperature.

It was beginning of December, It was pretty weird to find three teens skate boarding while it snowed. And Honestly they all knew it was but they had always been strange.

"FUCK IT!" She finally screamed.

Her knees were slightly bleeding through the material and her elbows looked horrid, "Damn it man." She grumbled, "Chill Max." El replied. Earning a death glare from Max.

Max's coat laid in between El and Will; She threw it down, yelling about how it was hot earlier. She sat down beside Will on the curb, Grabbing his water bottle and downing half of it.

"That was mine." Will groaned, rolling his eyes.

"What if Lucas thinks I'm not girly enough?" Max asked, ignoring Will. She didn't look sad but more mad.

She was mad that Lucas may think she wasn't "girly" enough.

"Max, He is utterly in love with you?" El rolled her eyes, "It's not like you've ever been girly." she added on, treating the word girly like venom to the tongue. "If he thinks you're not girly enough then he's obviously a waste of time." Will groaned, Patting Max's back.

Suddenly all attention was directed at Will, Out of nowhere. Will felt like both girls just randomly decided to pay attention to him at the same time. Like aliens.

"So any boys got your attention?" Max asked.

"No. And we are talking about you at the moment."

"Will Byers! You never deflect like that!" Max said, pointing a finger in his face.

"Max.. He literally deflects all the time." El groaned.

"Whatever." Max grumbled. Her ginger hair coming undone from the hair tie, her hand slipping it onto her wrist.

After a while they all decided to walk around town, Hawkins was boring after living here for a while.

Max had moved here in 7th grade, El moved a few months later, and Will was born here. Not as exciting as you'd think but they all enjoyed Hawkins, Sometimes.

Max led them into a family video store, Trying to escape the cold. While talking on and on about how well Lucas knew these people.

"Looking for anything specific?" a girl with short brown hair asked, Her right hand on the counter while her left was on her hip.

The three of them shook their heads and started browsing, But the employee kept a close eye on them. Mainly Will.

She came up to Will, pointing at her name tag.
