Chapter 7

"Winter break starts tomorrow!" El cheered, She and the others had been planning to hang out almost everyday of break.

"It'll be amazing!" Max grinned.

Will glanced at Mike, he had picked up a nasty habit of staring at him during these moments.

Mike looked how he usually did, well except for his eye bags. They seemed worse, and he was obviously very annoyed.

Mike had been looking forward to the break for lots of reasons, main one being he could actually sleep. He would have no reason to get up early, especially the next morning of a bad night.

Will and his own sleep schedule weren't very good either, He had been pulling lots of all nighters due to the time school started and the time his brain would finally rest.

El had been getting comfortable around the others, which left Will alone. He was now the only one who didn't enjoy talking to the group. Which he rarely did anyway.

"Mike, Will."

Lucas's voice broke both boys out their thoughts, flustering them after realizing each had been staring at the other.

"Did you guys hear anything we just said?" Lucas asked, He put his hand on Mike's shoulder.

Will shook his head and Mike rolled his eyes, "Okay well, we all agreed to go to the movies Sunday?"

Now everyone was looking at them.

"Oh sure, What uh- time?" Will asked quietly, Mike glanced at him. His eyes shot to his lips then back to his eyes, Not realizing what he had done.

Max smiled, She was proud he was actually asking about plans himself instead of waiting for her to tell him later.

Because of Max looking towards Will, she noticed Mike. It registered in her brain that no normal teenage boy would look at another's lips then get flustered, but she let it go. Mike wasn't much of a talker around Will anyway.

"We were thinking 2:40?"

Both boys nodded, Mike did so way too hard shaking his curls up & down quickly.

"Wait Will!" Dustin shouted, Will was about to leave but he was being pulled back.

"Now that we are going to start hanging out take this!" The curly boy smiled, His pearly whites showing.

"Oh I uh thank you!" Will shouted.

Dustin had given him a walkie talkie, Quickly explaining how to use it then running back to the other two boys.
