Katsuki and I went out for a the night together.

We didn't plan to kill anyone. We were just spending some us time now that we're officially together. I laid down on a rooftop while he sat cross-legged next to me. I had forgotten what this was like, just being myself with someone I really care about and love. Though we were arguing who was the top.

"It's ME, dammit!" he kept insisting. I shook my head. "From my experience, you're not."

"Don't say that!" He tackled me and tried to tickle me. It worked; even if I have the hardest abs in the world, I still have a soft spot. I laughed and tried to push him off me. "G-get off, idiot!" I finally got him off and pushed him under me, pinning his arms. We stared long and hard at each other before I pressed my lips onto his.

I licked his lips and he parted them gladly for me. I used my legs to hold most of my weight while one of my hands felt every nook and cranny on his body. When I tugged on his dark shorts, he gasped. I smiled and planted kisses all down his chin and throat, leaving a few hickeys in my wake. He moaned softly, then used his free hand to cover his mouth. I chuckled and gazed into his eyes. "See?" I teased. "I'm the top." He frowned. "Shut up..."

I was about to make another flirty comment when something to my left caught my attention. A shadow of some sort was just standing there. No, not a shadow. A man. I stood and pulled Katsuki up with me. He put his night vision goggles back on and stared in the same direction. "What the hell..?" I heard him mutter.

I called out to the figure, "What the fuck are you looking at?"

"Oh, just someone I haven't seen in quite some time."

No...

That slithery voice, the voice that made you shiver as it crawled through your ears and into your head; I knew it anywhere. The voice that I heard that day, when... His form slowly came into focus as he approached. His bird mask, his dark coat with purple lining.

Overhaul.

I was in shock. I remember the power he had even back then. I couldn't see where he would attack from. I grabbed Katsuki's hand. "We need to run..." I murmured. He stared at me questioningly. "What-" "We need to run," I repeated urgently. He didn't ask anymore questions. We started backing away slowly, but our backs hit something. I turned to see a great stone wall that wasn't there before. Caused by Overhaul's quirk, I presumed. "Going somewhere?" The snake was a few feet from us. I saw him stretch his fingers out.

Then, lightning fast, he knelt and placed his hand on the ground.

I somehow saw this and pulled Katsuki away just in time. A spike shot from the makeshift wall right where he was standing. I collected my shadows and turned to Overhaul, hatred in my heart.

"You're going to pay for what you've done, you bastard."

He laughed like I was just a child with a water gun. "We'll see about that, won't we?" He charged after me with an outstretched hand. I jumped out of the way as Kacchan sent an explosion his way. Overhaul shot backwards a few feet and growled at us. His mask was in cinders as it fell of his face. His smile was not one of joy, but one of madness. His face didn't seem to be harmed, much to my dismay. He reached down again. "Oh no you don't!" I yelled, sending shadows his way. He dodged, and they just barely missed him by an inch.

I knew what we had to do. I was next to Katsuki, so I whispered to him. "Get him into the air. He probably can't use his quirk in mid-air." He nodded. We began to circle around him.

Bird-brains laughed. "I'd image you'd try to run again, kid. Though, that'd only leave him to die, too." Katsuki looked at me questioningly, and I shook my head. I'll have to explain it someday, but not right now.

We charged at our opponent at the same time. I reached out to grab him by the throat, but he dodged and knocked me off the building. I caught myself right before I hit the ground.

That's when I heard a small squeak next to me. I reached out and grabbed the source with my shadows and pulled it under a nearby lamppost.

A girl?

A little girl indeed. She had white hair and eyes, pale skin, and a dress pale as snow. She squirmed in my grasp, fightned by my power. I couldn't decide if I should crush her or let her go.

"Ah, I see you've met Eri," I heard the chilling voice of Overhaul call from above. I gaped at Eri. Is this his daughter, or a kidnapped child? I assumed the latter and brought her close to my side. "Hey kid," I whispered to her, "did he do anything to you?" She was silent. "I said," I repeated, my voice still silent but firmer, "did he hurt or touch you?" She winced and murmured, "Uh... h-he hurt me..?" I knew she didn't quite understand the 'touch' part, but 'hurt' was a simple enough word. She couldn't be more than 10.  Maybe she was even younger. "Don't worry, Eri." I put on my kindest smile (which made her shy away from me still). "I'll make sure you never have to deal with him again. Just wait here and cover your ears, can you do that?" She nodded. I set her down, and she covered her ears.

I leaped back onto the building. Kacchan glanced over at me. His head was bleeding a little, but he was otherwise unharmed. I turned my gaze to Overhaul. "Alright, jackass." I couldn't keep the blood-thirsty smirk from my face.

"Let's dance."
