"Are they awake?"

"Calm down, Toga."

"How can I? The green-haired guy looks so cute!"

"Give them time. If they don't wake up, I'm going to-"

"Blame Kurogiri. Should've given them some sorta warning before you just poofed them away."

"Dabi, that's not the point. The green one might not even wake up. His injury's too extensive."

I sat up a little too fast. The world spun and my side cramped instantly. I groaned. "Stop talking about me like I'm not right here. And I'm alive, so deal with it."

A form lying next to me - probably Kacchan, but I still couldn't see straight - rolled over to face me.

A hand was placed on my forehead. It felt like a dried raisin. "Come on, kid," the owner of the hand said. "Lay down for a minute longer. Your eyes are going crazy, and that's not good for them."

I sighed and did as I was told. Sure enough, my vision cleared and my head stopped pounding.

There were a large variety of people in the room. The one that told me to lay down was a dark-haired man with one too many burn marks dotting his body. That's why he felt wrinkly. His eyes were kind and brotherly.

There was another man in a black cloak and what appeared to be light cyan hair. It looked like he needed some severe lotion. But that's all I could see. Kurogiri stood at his side.

Another man in a half-white half-black costume sat cross-legged at the end of the bed I seemed t be laying on. His hand cradled his chin. It reminded me of what the old man used to make fun of me for when I mumbled.

The last person in the room, a female, had an oversized beige sweater and blond hair in two messy buns. Under her sweater was a white button-up. She had a sailor skirt on, dark blue. Definitely a school uniform-based costume. She looked like she wanted to murder everyone in the room and then kiss their rotting corpse.

"You're awake, cutie!" the girl said. I am not kidding when I say she jumped on me.

Sharp pain in my chest made me cry out and yell "Get off of me!" I pushed her off and she fell to the floor.

I rubbed my wound, slightly above my abdomen. "For Kami's sake, lady. That hurt!" I growled.

Katsuki sat up slowly. "Deku..?" he said sleepily. "What the hell was that?"

"Ask that crazy chick!"

Kurogiri cleared his throat. "That is Himiko Toga. The man in the black and white suit is twice, the one who told you to lay down is Dabi, and this man is Tomura Shigaraki." He gestured to the different people as he introduced them.

I couldn't look away from Shigaraki. "You look crusty. Ever heard of lotion? You should try it. Chapstick, too. It'll help."

Dabi snorted a laugh as Shiagraki glared daggers into my soul. He stood and rushed to my side. Kurogiri tried to tell him to sit back down. He was ignored. Shigaraki grabbed a bandage roll that was on the table next to me, probably used to wrap my wound. It disintegrated in his hand almost instantly.

"Everything you touch turns to dust. So what?" I asked though I was fascinated by his power. He scowled at me. "If you're so great, then what's your quirk?" he asked. I grinned. "Glad you asked."

I raised my fist up. Shadows began to circle my arm. "My quirk is called Shadow Manipulation. Pretty self-explanatory. I used to get dizzy as soon as I started to activate it, but now I don't even have a drawback. I can create things like weapons that will temporarily solidify, though I don't use that power often." I looked up at Shigaraki. "They can't be touched otherwise. So, King of Crust, as long as I stay out of reach from you, I can win in any fight against you. Checkmate, asshole."

Dabi and Toga were shaking with laughter by now. Kurogiri chuckled then tried to pass it off as a cough. Shigaraki only stared at me. I dismissed my darkness after a moment and turned serious. "But first things first, I have a message from my boss."
