Ally was sitting on Leo's kitchen island, swinging her legs back and forth while he was making coffee. She was wearing his t-shirt and nothing else.
"Family?" he asked.
He took two cups out of the cupboard and put them down on the counter.
"Mum, dad, and a sister, Jennifer. She's eighteen. How about you?"
He poured the coffee.
"Parents and a brother. Nick's thirty-three."
He added milk and sugar to one of the cups, and only sugar to the other.
"You close?"
He offered her the cup without milk.
"Not really." She took a sip. "You?"
He leaned against the counter, cup in hand.
"I pick her up from school once a week."
It was the day after they had decided to become whatever they were.
"What are we?" He asked.
She shrugged. "Not a couple."
He agreed.
"But not just hooking up", she continued.
It was a difficult thing, she thought. They had rules between them as dom and sub, but rules about their relationship was a whole other, new, thing.
"Are we seeing other people?"
He was quick to answer.
"No."
She grinned.
"You jealous?"
He put his cup down and positioned himself between her dangling legs.
"Are you teasing me?" He leaned forward and bit her lip before giving her a kiss. "Be careful or I will bend you over this kitchen island and fuck you until you scream my name."
She laughed.
"You're not making the compelling threat that you think you're making." She took another sip of coffee. "We're not seeing other people then. What about Verónica?"
He looked confused. She tilted her head.
"You forgot about her, didn't you?"
He looked a little guilty but still managed to give her a smile that made her want to rip his clothes off. She slapped his arm.
"What about you?" he said defending himself. "That girl from the party..."
"Melanie", she said.
He grabbed her by the hair.
"Don't interrupt me."
She felt herself getting wet. He gave her a warning look.
"Do it again and I will make you regret it."
Leo pressed his hand between Ally and the kitchen island, grapping her butt.
"How does that ass feel?" He grinned. "Test me again and I will add a few bruises to it." He let go off of her. "Melanie?" he asked.
She nodded and reached for her phone.
"I'll text her right away." She didn't unlock it though, only held it in her hand. "After you tell Verónica."
He put a finger under her chin and lifted her face up so he could look her in the eyes. Every time they were this close the world felt like a blur.
"Why me first?"
