CHAPTER - 6 : L

" I.....I don't believe it.... " Said the voice in disbelief.

" This was an experiment to test a hunch I had but I never really thought.....Kira...you can actually kill people without direct contact "

"....What? " Light stood in his spot baffled by the fact that he just fell for the clever detective"s trap by killing the wrong L.

" So...my hunch was right....I couldn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes, but you can....you would have to ofcourse otherwise it didn't make any sense "

" Listen to me kira if you have just killed Lind. L. Tailor the man you saw on your TV...that wasn't me he was a condemned criminal scheduled to die today at this hour. "

" His arrest and conviction were kept a secret from the media and went unreported even on the internet. Even you had no way of knowing about him it seems..."

" He got you there light " Ryuk said and snickered, watching with amusement.

" BUT I, L, DO INFACT EXIST. " L"s voice roared through the screen.

Light listened to L with a very troubled expression.

L kept provoking light or should I say Kira to kill him.

The street was filled with the sound of people murmuring and asking questions as the watched the broadcast with interest and slight fear.

If I was the old me I'm sure I would be thrilled but no

This is real life and I just witnessed my best friend kill a man.

And yes this man Lind L Tailor is a criminal himself but still it's a lot harder to handle than I thought.

I know it's not light's first murder but seeing him do it infront of my eyes saddens me ......and angers me.

And it keeps reminding me that Kira will bow to no one

Innocent or guilty if you are in his way he won't hesitate to take your life

Kira is no god he is  pure evil

Condemning everyone to die just because they are behind the bars.

As I stood in my place I promised myself
