CHAPTER - 2 : The Deathnote

17 years later...

Sooo it's been 17 years since I got reincarnated so I'm 17 now,obviously.

My 2nd life isn't so bad I have the best parents they are very supportive, I go to a good school, I'm a straight A student and I have good friends.

In this life I live in Japan it's like a dream come true I have always wanted to go to Japan.

Even in this life I still love reading manga but I couldn't find deathnote it was weird I first thought I was born in the same timeline as my first life but it looks like I was born in the past.....well whatever let's not think about that.

"Dad eat your breakfast soon your gonna get late for work " I shouted at my dad who was immersed in watching his favourite sports.

" And mom just please pick a tie " I said turning to face my mother who was having a hard time choosing which tie to wear for work.

Seriously is this how parents are supposed to be??? It's like I'm the one that's raising them.

" I'm trying honey which one suits me better red or green " my mom asked holding a red and green tie in each hand while at the dining table the breakfast was going cold and dad in his own world.

I heaved a long sigh. God what am I gonna do with them?.

Somehow we managed to sort everything out and left our home and my parents went for their work amd I for school.

Then school finaly got over

"God what a hectic day " I said as I stretched my arms and continued walking.

Then after walking for a while I saw something on the ground.

"Hmm what's this? A book?" I asked myself as I bent down to get the book.

" A-a deathnote! " I said surprised to see the familiar book.

Haha it must be a prank but Wow it looks just like the one in the manga if I didn't know any better I would have thought this was real .

I then opened it to see all the instructions mentioned just like in the manga.

Ok something feels off about this. This can't be real r-right but I wouldn't know I doubt anyone even know about the manga I know it doesn't exist yet. Then how come?.

I then looked around to see if there's anyone watching but no one was... everyone was minding their own business.

Then it suddenly occurred to me.

Wait I died while reading deathnote then I suddenly get reincarnated in Japan and then I see a deathnote lying in the middle of a school ground in JAPAN!!. C-could it be that I got reincarnated i-into d-eathnote.

N-no no that can't be possible but I did get reincarnated so the only way to find out is to wait for the future owner of this deathnote to make an appearance. I quickly placed the deathnote where I found it amd went to hide somewhere where I can still see it.

But even if I really did get reincarnated in deathnote and go to the same school as light then shouldn't I have met him atleast once??? How come I never came across him??? Wasn't he popular or something???

God I need to socialize more.

I was pulled out from my thoughts when I saw a handsome brunette pick the note up and opened it and mumbled something and placed it in his bag.

OMG that's THE LIGHT YAGAMI in the flesh oh sweet God he's even more attractive in person.

I then slapped myself to stop myself from simping over the future mass murder.

Ok ok what do I do now???

Should I follow him and see where he lives?? Yeah I will just do that

Good thing there's no ryuk to call me out .

I silently followed him to see where he lives it seems like we live quite close to each other. Seriously I need to go out a lot. When we reached his home I quietly watched him enter his home then I returned to my home.

" I'm home " I shouted particular to no one my mom and dad always come home late. So ia have the house all to my self .

Ok let's not panic and do what every other isekie MC would do let's get our thoughts together first ok so what do I know

First : I'm in deathnote

Second: I go to the same school as light

Third : I know where he lives

Fourth: I touched the deathnote so I'll be able to see ryuk I don't know if it's a good thing or bad .

Will light kill me if he knows about this should I just stay down and live peacefully or should I use my knowledge of the future and change it??? But that would put my parents in danger.

I started to panic thinking what to do.

I then suddenly slammed me arms on the table " Come on y/n get a hold of yourself you were put into deathnote for a reason are you just going to watch light do stupid shit and watch your favourite characters die when you could change that?? " I yelled at my self " I can't be afraid of light I have something that he doesn't I have the power to change everyone's fate......and I will.

Ok so for the next five days light will keep writing names in the deathnote and will catch L"s attention.

So during that time I have to make sure I get on light's good side......why?? Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer.......hahaha kidding.

My real plan is to make light believe that I'm his friend and once I gain his trust I'll reveal the fact that I can see ryuk and then misa will appear then I'll play like I'm one of them and try to save L..........and misa ofcourse I don't want her to suffer in the name of love.

That's the rough plan for now I'll think of what to about the rest later.

No matter what I must save L and bring Kira to justice.

I can't wait to see what happens in the future. I thought to myself as my lips slowly curved into a smirk.
