VECNA'S BODY WAS SHOT across the gymnasium, hitting the wall all the way across from Sam.

Sam's body hit the ground and she groaned, looking up. Eleven was walking in, holding Vecna up with her powers. Sam's heart sunk but she felt relief in her body. El lifted him in the air and turned him toward her, "You." Vecna growled at El.

"Hi," she said softly before slamming his body into the wall again. Sam stood up slowly, and El came and helped her up. "Sam? Are you okay?" El picked up Sam.

"What?" Sam asked in confusion holding Eleven's arms. "Yeah, but, how are you here, are- are you real? I mean-" Sam stuttered holding El's face and looking at her shaved hair. "I'm real." El spoke. "But how?"

"I piggybacked from a pizza dough freezer."

Sam was still confused, "What?"

Bricks started to crumble where the giant hole was, and Vecna came crawling back through into the gym, walking toward El and Sam. "Stay back." El stood in front of Sam.

"Yeah, yeah. Okay. I'm fine with that." Sam stuttered as she backed up.

They both met in the middle of the gym. "If you touch her again, or Max. I will kill you, again."

"Is that what to did? Hmm? Did you kill me?.. I am so glad you are here, Eleven. This... is going to be, beautiful." Thunder and lighting rumbled outside. "So beautiful." He spoke, bringing sharp, broken floor boards into the air. "And it's all thanks to you." He shot the pieces of wood at El, she forced them the other way, and shot them into a wall instead.

Vecna pushed El into the pile of chairs from earlier. And throwing her body all across the gym, slamming her into things.

Sam backed up further into a corner behind the bleachers to try and hide.

Vecna pulled Sam from out the bleachers, dragging her on the ground, throwing her into the glass basketball hoop. Shattering the glass, into pieces all over the floor. Sam landed on the glass and a couple went into her arm and leg. Her ears started to ring and her head felt light, and she couldn't get up; she was unconscious.

He threw El into his Lair, in the Upside Down, where Max had been before. He picked up Sam's body and carried her. El was already tied up, in his flesh like vines, he just needed Sam. Bodies of past victims were in his Lair, for display like some sick art show, Chrissy, Fred, Patrick. They were all there.

Sam started to gain consciousness again, Vecna caressed her face with his long, sharp claws. "Try to stay very still." He said.

Sam whimpered, "No."

"It will all be over soon." He brought his hand to her face slowly, her eyes fell to the back of her head again, and it started to get more difficult to breath.

"Sam!" El let out, crying.

LUCAS AND MAX, GASPED
as Sam's body lifted in the air.

"SAM!" Lucas let out watching her body float. "NO!" Max screamed when Sam's eyes began to bleed, and her right leg snapped, her body fell to the ground soon after.

"We need a doctor!" Lucas yelled out. "Call an ambulance!" Max shouted holding Sam. "HURRY, CALL AN AMBULANCE!" Lucas screamed more.

"Max? L- Lucas," Sam struggled to let out. "Yes, yes we're here. I'm here." Lucas moved Sam's hair away from her face.

"M- my leg I can't feel my leg." Sam cried in Max's arms. "I know, I know, it's okay. We're gonna get you some help okay?" Max sobbed. "Just, just hold on. Stay with me." Max held Sam's face. "Guys I'm scared, I'm really scared." Sam sobbed.

"I know Sammy, just shh, shhh." Max wiped the blood of Sam's face.

"Lucas am I dying? I'm not ready to die. I promised Eddie. I promised! I can't go, I don't wanna go." Sam wailed.

"You're not gonna die! Just hang on! Please! Stay with us Sam." Max held her head. Sam's breathing became softer, and her ability to keep her eyes open weakened.

"Sam? No, no, no! Sam. SAM? Sam stay with me! Come on!" Lucas shook Sam lightly. Her eyes stayed expressionless and she didn't move. "Sam? No..." Max sobbed quietly. "LOOK AT ME SAM. PLEASE." Lucas cried.

"ERICA HELP!" Lucas screamed for Erica.

The floor started to shake and split open, the shaking got more aggressive by the second, Max and Lucas dragged Sam's body away from the hole in the floor, holding her close again. "The final sacrifice." Max said to herself.

"No." Lucas denied.

"Lucas." Max said sternly.

"No, NO." Lucas cried.

Max shifted her body toward Lucas, laying in his arm, as his other held Sam. "ERICA PLEASE!" Lucas shouted after Erica again.

"Lucas. She's dead." Max stared at Sam's lifeless body.

"No. No she isn't. Erica! Erica, hurry!"

"LUCAS!" Max grabbed his hand.

"She can't be. She can't." He shuttered, rocking her body.

"I know, I know."
