"IT'S BEEN THREE MONTHS since the tragic earthquake struck the small town of Hawkins. Leaving people with no homes and many lives lost. Still no sign of Cult Leader and Murder Edward Munson, people are still on the lookout. Police officials say, to keep your doors and windows locked at all times to ensure safety upon your homes and-"

Ted switched the channels over and over. "I still can't believe the blasphemy of these news's channels, I just can't. These people are crazy, I mean a cult? Please." Ted scoffed changing the channel again.

"If only they got to actually know Eddie's side of the story," Karen shook her head while washing the dishes. "For all we know, Eddie could be completely innocent, poor boy." Karen clicked her tongue softly.

"And he's still missing isn't he?" Ted asked.

"Yeah." Karen said softly, looking out the kitchen window.

"Girls! Are you almost ready?" Karen asked, yelling up the stairs.

"Almost!" Sam shouted putting on her earrings at her vanity.

"Yes, mom!" Nancy said back.

Sam stared into the mirror of her vanity, looking at herself in her green gown. She looked the Polaroids of her and her friends again, she kissed her fingers and placed it on the picture of her, Steve, and Robin when they worked at Scoops.

"You ready to graduate?" Nancy asked standing at her doorway in her gown and cap. "Yeah." She replied softly.

"Let's go, moms waiting on us." Nancy pointed her head toward the stairs. Sam got up and followed Nancy down the stairs slowly.

"Oh my, gosh, you guys look so beautiful. Ted, take a look at our two daughters." Karen stuck out her bottom lip at them.

"You look great girls, I can't believe you're finally graduating. Sam you're a year late but that's fine."

"Ted!" Karen warned.

"What? I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Someone had to say it."

"Let's just go, MIKE! MIKE, HONEY LETS GO!" Karen yelled up the stairs.

"Okay, okay mom, I'm coming." Mike said walking down with El behind him.

"I'm glad you're gonna be here, El." Sam brushed El's hair behind her ear.

"Me too." El smiled back.

"I can't believe you're wearing you're gross, old converse," Nancy said looking at Sam's shoes in the car.

"And you're wearing heels? I hope you fall down the steps getting your diploma." Sam joked.

"Yeah? Well you wish were you Valedictorian." Nancy stuck her tongue out at Sam.

Once they've gotten there, Sam noticed the empty seats that had green and yellow streamers wrapped around them, and pictures of the seniors who were supposed to graduate this year. Chrissy, Jason, Patrick, and some other kids she didn't recognize.

But Sam didn't see one for Eddie. She felt irritated almost the entire ceremony, she sat in her chair watching the other students get their diploma, and waited for Nancy to do her speech.
