"IS THAT... STEVE?" SAM
asked, trying to sit up under Eddie.

"AND DUSTIN?" Eddie jumped off Sam, pushing her back on the ground. Sam grunted and sat back up, dusting herself off, glaring at Eddie.

They were up higher on a little hill in the ground that Skull Rock covered, she peeked down and sure enough, there they were. Dustin and Steve were looking intently. Eddie watched them as they came closer. Sam started crawling down but when she looked up Eddie was gone. "Eddie?" Sam looked around.

"AHHH!" Dustin femininely screamed. Hearing that, Sam knew it was Dustin.

"You, Dustin Henderson, are a... total butthead." Eddie said, once Sam reached the ground.

"Jesus, we thought you two were goners." Dustin gave Eddie a hug.

"Steve." Sam softly said, looking at Steve.

"Sam." He ran up to Sam, lifting her up, hugging her tightly. "Steve. Steve, I can't- I cant breath." Sam struggled to let out.

"Oh. Sorry." He let go of her, dropping her body. Steve had his hands on his hips, looking Eddie up and down. Sam looked at Steve, and back-handed him in the chest. "What?!" Steve let out.

"Stop looking at him like that for Christ's sake." Sam walked back over to Eddie and held his arm, laying her head on it, smiling at Dustin.

Dustin looked confused, he looked at both Sam and Eddie back and forth. Then his face gleamed. "HAHA. Holy shit!" Dustin laughed looking at the both of them together. "What?" Steve asked, he looked lost and confused. "Dustin. Dustin, no!"
Sam said through her teeth, moving her hand across her neck in a cutting motion.

"I don't- OHHH! Oh." Steve yelled.

"Dustin, I'm gonna kill you." Sam squinted at Dustin angrily. Steve nodded and punched Eddie's shoulder, in a "friendly" way.

"Wowww, look at you two." Steve said under his breath.

"Yeah, yeah." Sam sighed. "Well I think maybe we should get a move on." Sam started walking away, having enough of Steve.

"Hmm, uhh, mhm no. Not yet," Steve put his hand on Sam's chest, stopping her and pulling her toward him.

"What? Why?" Sam asked in a whiney voice.

"I mean, we just found you guys we have some questions to ask... Well I do at least." Steve looked at Dustin. "Especially with this little situation we got going on here." He swirled his finger around in circles, pointing at them.

"Well, first of all, where is everyone else?" Sam asked, looking around. "Right here." Nancy's voice appeared from behind a tree. "Nance," Sam whispered in relief, running up to Nancy, hugging her tightly.

"You scared me to death, Sam. You're not borrowing my car anymore." Nancy laid her head on the top of Sam's, kissing her. "You've got, stuff in your hair." Nancy lifted Sam's head and pulled leaves and twigs from her hair.

"Oh..." Sam looked at the leaves in Nancy's hands, then back at Eddie, he shrugged and smiled at her.

Eddie walked away and kneeled down under a rock, drinking up the water Nancy gave both Sam and Eddie, but surely, Eddie had already drank most of it.

"When we got to shore, I tried calling you guys but uh..." He took the last sip of water. "But, my walkie was busted man, drenched. But luckily Sam had hers. And uh, I did what I do now apparently. I ran." Eddie sighed, clapping his hands together.

"Do you know what time this was? The attack?" Nancy questioned.

"Yeah, no, I... I know exactly what time it was. My walkie wasn't the only thing that got soaked." He removed his watch and threw it at Nancy.
