"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE to be right on the money for you guys just to trust me?!!" Dustin yelled, angrily.
"Jesus Christ. This kids gotta get his ego in check," Steve sighed.
"It's his tone, right?" Eddie added.
"I know." Steve shook his head.
"Okay, S- So how far is your trailer?" Nancy asked Eddie.
"Seven miles."
"Wheelers?.. uh, I know your house here is, like, weirdly, creepily frozen in time and shit, but haven't you always had bikes?" Robin faced Nancy and Sam, everyone turned to look at them both as well.
"Yeah, in the garage." Sam walked out Nancy's room without saying another word.
"W- Sam!" Eddie walked after her. Sam hopped on her old bike, that he hasn't been rode probably since last summer. It was originally a pastel pink, but later on became bleached by the sun and turned into a peachy color. It had cream colored tires, and a old light attached to it, that didn't work anymore: it flickered once turned on, and the wheels screeched.
Everyone else grabbed even older bikes, passed on from Sam, to Nancy, to Mike, to Holly.
"This plan better work." Sam peddled slowly out her drive way, and onto the road.
"It will. We've talked about this before, Dustin is a smart kid. They can handle this, I promise you, we'll be fine." Steve rode along side Sam.
"Yeah, yeah, you're right." Her voice was soft a unsure.
"Let's just do this. Get it over with." Nancy said sternly, pedaling faster next to Sam and Steve.
Once they'd made it to the trailer park, pulling into Eddie's trailer. "It's right here," he hit the brakes on his bike.
Everyone got off their bike, dropping them on the ground. "That's gotta be a Guinness World Record. Most miles traveled inter-dimensionally." Robin hopped off her bike, gasping for air.
Steve coughed and spat on the ground, "I just inhaled a bunch of that crap," he wiped his mouth.
"Me too," Sam said ruggedly, trying to cough up the dust.
"It's stuck in my throat." Steve coughed again. Sam came up and rubbed and pat Steve's back harshly.
They followed Eddie into his trailer, cautiously, with their flashlights on. Sam wasn't paying attention to where she was walking, she kinda just stared at her feet, which lead to her bumping into Steve. She looked back up and saw everyone was looking up. Rumbling and squelching came from a little gate that was in the ceiling of Eddie's living room.
"Holy shit." Sam mumbled to herself.
"Goddamn." Steve stared at the gate, squinting his eyes in disgust.
"This is where Chrissy died, like right, where she died." Eddie described the gates placement.
"I think there's something in there," Robin mentioned, as the gate made more sounds. Something came poking though the flesh-like gate, pushing through forcibly.
"What the hell is that?" Sam stared at it.
"Gross, don't stand to close to it, Sam." Nancy winced.
The gate burst open, leaving slime all over the floor, causing everyone to jump back and scream. It was a wooden broom stick, breaking the gate open. Steve walked slowly up to the now open gate. "No way..." He whispered as he got closer.
Everyone looked up in ease. Dustin, Lucas, Max and Erica were on the other side, looking "up" at them.
Dustin laughed as he saw everyone. "Hi there!" He waved.
