and comforted him, while Sam and Dustin tried to comfort Eddie. He was sweaty and pale, "Eddie, c'mon. It's me. Tell us what happened." Dustin whispered to Eddie, Eddie looked up at Max, he looked confused and lost. Sam grabbed his hand and he cleared his throat and wiping his face with his other hand, sliding the broken bottle across the floor. "Her body just like, lifted up into the air and uh... and she just, like, hung there... in the air. And her bones, uh she.." he whimpered more, his words were shaky and he couldn't focus, "Hey, take your time okay? You're okay." Sam whispered holding his hand tighter, "Her bones started to snap. Her eyes, man. It- it was like there was something, like, inside her head, pulling. I- I didn't know what to do so, I... I ran away. I left her there." He let go of Sam's hand. "You all think I'm crazy though, right?" He looked down, in self doubt, playing with his rings.

"No, we don't think you're crazy Eddie." Sam said trying to look into his eyes, his head was down, his hand was on his forehead covering his eyes. "Don't bullshit me man! I know how this sounds!!" Eddie exclaimed. Tears formed in his eyes, he looked away trying to squeeze them out, and wipe them. "We're not bullshitting you." Sam reassured him again.

"We believe you." Eddie exhaled and shook his head. "Look. What we're about to tell you might be, a little... difficult to take." Sam said looking into his eyes. "Okay." He answered, in a gentle tone. "You know how people say Hawkins is... Cursed?" Dustin said."Well, they're not... way off."

"There's another world. A world hidden beneath Hawkins. And sometimes, it bleeds into ours." Sam said, "Like ghosts and shit?" Eddie asked, "There are some things, worse than ghosts." Said Max. "These monsters, from this other world, we thought they were gone. But they've come back before." Sam said, looking up at Dustin.

"That's why we needed to find you." Dustin said to Eddie. "If they're back again, we need to know." Max explained. "That night, did you see anything?" Robin asked Eddie. "Dark particles, maybe?" Questioned Max again. Sam looked back at Eddie for a response, he shook his head side to side again, "It would almost look like dust, swirling dust." Sam explained to him, "No man. There was nothing you could see or, uh or touch... you know. I tried to wake her man. She couldn't move. It was like sh- she was in a trance or something." Eddie explained.

"Or under a spell." Said Dustin. "A curse." Sam replied, looking up at Dustin, slowly. "Vecna's curse." Dustin said, looking at Sam and Eddie. "Who's Vecna?" Steve asked. "An undead creature of great power." Said Dustin.

"A spell caster." Sam said staring into Dustin's eyes in shock.

"A dark wizard." Eddie said looking back at Sam. Confusion was plastered on Steve's face still, and he was mouthing words at Robin, who was just as confused as he was. "I dunno." Robin mouthed, shrugging at Steve.

THEY HAD BOUGHT BURGER King for Eddie, so Steve was driving them to Eddie's boat house hideout again, "Remind me what the plan is?" Max asked in a sassy tone. "Why don't you just wait until we get there," Robin replied in the front seat. "Whatever."

"Okay kids! Where here," Steve said parking the car, Sam held the bags in her arms as she got out. Dustin walked right in without knocking. "SHIT!" Eddie shouted, hiding behind the canoe. "Oh shit sorry man, didn't mean to scare ya," Steve said grabbing a burger out of one of the bags Sam was holding, and threw it at Eddie's chest. "So, we have some good news and some bad news," Dustin said sitting on a stool, Eddie was sitting in his canoe tearing his burger up. "How do you prefer it?" Dustin asked. Eddie had now opened a box of Honey Comb cereal and started eating it with his hands, digging in the box. "Bad news first, always." He said with a mouth, full of food. "Alright, bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you." Eddie's face turned to worry, "Also they're pretty convinced that you killed Chrissy so." Dustin added.
