i thought of this small story for Dijun and Feng Jiu and thought it would be rather cute. i won't explicitly state who's talking but it should be pretty clear ehehe

in which Dijun keeps Feng Jiu waiting for his answer.

"Go home, Feng Jiu."

"Not after all of that- you told Heavenly Lord. You told them that they captured me. Not only that, you were the first to come for me even though you were all the way up here in the Nine Heavens."

"It was justice. It was only right."

"Look me in the eyes and tell me that you did that purely for the justice in this world."

"..."

"See? You can't tell me that I'm overthinking all of this. Even my family questioned me about your sudden anger. They've never even seen you in that state before."

"You are a young lady. And what they did is inherently wrong on all levels."

"Then would you do that for any other immortal lady?"

"..."

"Answer me."

"I don't have any obligation to answer your question."

"I'll keep following you until you do."

"..."

"Well?"

"Keep on following then."

--------------------------------------------------------------

"It's been three days."

"Go home then. I will not stop you."

"I won't."

--------------------------------------------------------------

"Are you just going to pace around?"

"I don't have anything to do! You've kept me waiting for a week now."

"It's your choice to stay or go. I never said I would answer you eventually."

"You never tell me that.. you usually just answer me at the end of everything."

"Feng Jiu, you are a princess, not just some common lady who can afford to wile her time away."

"I am a princess and I can spend my time anyhow I like."

"..."

-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Oh, would you just tell me already? It isn't that hard to say something!"

"...No, I wouldn't."

"You wouldn't what?"

"Both."

"Huh?"

"What you just asked and the one before that."

"The one before that... wait."

"Have I answered your question?"

"You wouldn't do what you did for another lady?"

"..."

"You're blushing."

"It's unnaturally stuffy here today."

"Because you always keep your quarters way too warm. I've said this so many times."

"Don't be silly. It's fine. I've lived like this for so long, it's nothing."

"..Whatever you say."
