A seven-year-old Akihiko was running down a path towards the Ninja Academy, excited for his first day there. As he ran, he was stopped in his tracks by a hand grabbing him. He turned to see his father Kakashi grabbing his collar.
"Pup, you need to slow down," Kakashi said.
"Sorry, father, it's just that today is the first day at the academy!" He cheered.
"You still need to slow down, Pup," Kakashi repeated to his son.
"Yes, father," Akihiko replied.
"Good, let's go. Your mother will pick you up after class since I have to leave for a mission," Kakashi told him.
"Alright," Akihiko said as he and his father continued walking toward the Ninja Academy.

Akihiko had finally arrived st the Ninja Academy with his father as they headed for room 105, where his classroom was located.
"Here we are now. Why don't you go find somewhere to sit," Kakashi said?
"I will see you later, father," Akihiko said as he looked around the room, seeing different kids had already arrived.
He then spotted a seat next to a boy with onyx eyes and wild spiky hair stopping past his ears. He then decided to sit over there next to him and nodded. Kakashi nodded as he left the classroom once his son was seated.
"Hey," Akihiko greeted to the boy.
"Hn," The boy replied.
"Wow, those two boys are so awesome looking!" A girl exclaimed.
"How can you tell one of them wearing a mask covering most of his face," Another girl muttered.
Just then, the door slid open, and a boy with bushy eyebrows entered the classroom. Many students got silent, looking at the boy's appearance as he took a seat next to a Hyuga boy and a brown hair girl.
'What there deal sure he has strange eyebrows, but they're no need to look at him like that.' Akihiko thought, not focusing on the fangirls who started whispering about him again.
The door slid open again as a man with short brown hair walked into that classroom and placed a stack of papers on the desk before he addressed the class.
"Hello, everyone," he started. "I'm your sensei Daiki. Address me as Daiki-sensei. I will now begin the roll call."
Akihiko observed his sensei. He had tanned skin with light short spiky brown hair and brown eyes. His most defining feature was a pair of black glasses. After doing roll call, Akihiko learned he was sitting next to a boy from the Uchiha clan as their sensei started teaching the basics of math, reading, writing, and history.
Akihiko could keep up as he wrote down the information in his notes and noticed the not next to him was doing pretty well as well. When he headed a worksheet to work on their math skills, he saw the Uchiha smirk at as they both began working on solving problems.

It was now time for lunch as Akihiko was now sitting under a tree with his bento box. He noticed the Uchiha coming his way.
"You seem pretty smart, but I doubt you're smarter than me," He stated, sitting down next to Akihiko.
"Is that a challenge, Uchiha?" Akihiko asked.
"Hn. I don't. Maybe it t is, and perhaps it is not."
"Well then, let's see who makes the top student at the end of the academy."
"Hn. No need because it will be me, Riku Uchiha."
"Oh, we see about that."
"Well then, here on out, we're rivals," Riku smirked.
"Agree," Akihiko agreed, his smirk hidden behind his mask.
"That mask is weird," Riku commented before going quiet as he began eating his lunch.
Akihiko did the same as he ate more of his lunch but was looking forward to his new rivalry with Riku Uchiha.
When lunch was over, everyone with back inside to work on Kanji and some more History. After another two hours, Daiki-sensei dismissed class for the day after he explained that this year would focus on school essentials and next year move to ninja essentials next year.

Akihiko was now walking home with his mother, Pakura.
"So, how was your first day at the academy?" She asked.
"It was good I made a rival with Riku Uchiha," He replied, looking up at his mother.
"Oh really, you already got a rival on your first day of school?" She asked."And he is an Uchiha?"
"Yeah, he determined to prove he was more intelligent than me since we both finished the math worksheet so fast," Akihiko replied.
"You know your father had an Uchiha rival too, but he was more of an Idoit from what I heard and seen from the one time we encountered each other back in the tome of the last war," She explained.
"Oh, he never talks much about his old teammate Obito," Akihiko commented.
"He has his reason, so what else happened today?" She asked.
"Well, a girl was whispering about me being handsome even though my face is mostly covered like father's."
Pakura laughed as she smiled at her son.
"Already getting fangirls," She smiled." Oh, my Scorch Prince, you don't need to see a person's whole face to tell they're handsome. You can just tell by looking at their eyes and hearing their voice. It is how I fell for your father," She explained, creasing her son's face.
"Mom, you're strange, and why call me Scorch Prince? I can't even use your know-how to use your kekkei Genkai yet."
Pakura smiled. "I might be strange, but I'm stating the truth. The face doesn't matter, and I call you that because I know you can use it one day even if we don't know your charka natures yet."
Akihiko shrugged as he and his mother Pakura continued to walk as he continued to tell his mother more and more about his first day at the academy. As well as about who was in his class and what his sensei was like.
