I sat by a tree, waiting for Allie to come out with an answer of why Byron was grossed out by my kiss. I think of all the things he did and said to me earlier. "You can't like somebody unless you like their personality," my mom once said when I told her I liked Nicholas Bernstein in 7th Grade.
With those words I discovered that I didn't like Nicholas because he was really mean to me and most other people. I tried to stop liking Byron but I couldn't. He was just to hot.
All the times I wanted to stop liking people, I just couldn't. It took a long time to not to have a crush on somebody. And trust me, it's really hard.
I began to bite my nails as I wait for a response from Allie. Biting my nails was an old habit of mine I started at age 7 when someone kidnapped me. I would never forget that.
I was in the east village getting some bread for dinner. I went in the store. I got my bread and left. Outside, I dropped my bread. A man picked it up. I thought he was going to give it back to me, but he didn't. I tried to ask for it but he didn't respond. The man just ate the bread carelessly.
"That's my bread!" I screamed at the man.
"Bread is bread," the man said.
"But I bought it!" I cried and tried to grab the remaining hunk away from him. It was the dumbest thing I have ever done, being seven and all.
Next thing I knew, I saw the bread plummeting to my face. I knocked out.
Later, I woke up in a torn down house died to the couch. The couch was splattered with old, dried blood. The walls were splattered with blood and skulls hung from the ceiling.
I started to cry and cry. I got my hands free and began to bite my nails. I realized that I could get myself untied. So I untied myself and ran out of the house. I got lost and was extremely worried. The next day, a woman found me and took me home. The man was arrested. It turned out that he killed two people and kidnapped five.
I leaned against a tree thinking about what Byron could be saying in that little tent. It began to get late. I wondered what they could possibly be doing there. I began to drift off.
I dreamed that I was back home in the village, cuddling with my mom and dad drinking hot cocoa at the fire. I could tell I smiled in my sleep. I missed being able to do that. I just wished all this was over.
I was shaken awake. I opened my eyes and saw Allie staring at me. "Destiny!" She said. "It's me Allie."
I said hi. "Can you tell me what he said?" I asked.
"He wants to talk to you in the tent," Allie said. A second later, Allie was being thrown onto the ground, blood splattering in my face. I heard her scream.
I looked down and saw a bright green wolf with red eyes. I read about these wolves in school. They are called Radioactive wolves. They are poisonous.
I screamed as the wolf tore at her, ripping her skin. When done, the wolf ran away.
Allie was dead, I could tell. I began to cry and cry and cry. Allie was shredded to pieces. Her bones were showing and her guts and blood flowed out of her body. Within all the people I meet in this little journey, three of them died.
"What happened!" Cried Beatrice as her, Byron, and Daniel came out of their tents.
"I... I...," I said. "Allie is dead!" I cried even harder.
"Oh no," said Daniel. "What happ..."
The next thing I knew, I felt extremely dizzy and lightheaded. I couldn't here anybody. I let out a small cry and the world turned black.
