I felt cold water being splashed on me. I shot awake. I tried to wipe off the water that was on my face, but I was bound to a tree. I must of been kidnapped. This brings back memories alright.
When I opened my eyes, my vision was blurry. I could barely see anything. But when my vision cleared up, I saw none other that Mary, leader of the West Willow Bandits. Oh no.
I tried to speak, but then I realized I had a gag in my mouth.
"You think you can run hide, missy," Mary said. My eyes began to water. "You can run, but you can't hide. We got you know." I looked over to see the West Willow Bandits and Byron, Beatrice, and Daniel tied up.
I looked over to the other side and saw Allie being thrown in a large fire. I mean, she was dead. I could feel hot tears streaming down my face. All I ever wanted was to go somewhere I loved. Home. But, now, there is a 75 percent chance that I'm gonna die and a 99 percent chance that I will not be returning home. My heart ached in agony.
"Oh, little Destiny is crying!" Mary exclaimed. "You'll be crying alright when I chop your head off using a little thing I call the guillotine." For a minute, I thought she was joking around. But then, one of the West Willow Bandits dragged out a large guillotine from behind a large oak.
Now a 95 percent chance that I'm gonna die.
I began to choke. Mary ripped the gag from my mouth. It hurt a lot. "You can't do this!" I yelled.
"Yes, I actually can," she said. On a journey escaping from jail to somewhere that is safe, I end up facing a guillotine.
"Now," Mary said in a rude tone to all four of us. "We're gonna go eat and once we are done..." She sliced her hand over her neck. Mary laughed and went inside their little camp.
"This can't be happening," I whispered.
I clenched my hands together. "Do you think we are gonna escape guy?" I asked Byron, Beatrice, and Daniel. They shook their heads.
After two hours of waiting and thinking about what might happen to us, Mary and the West Willow Bandits came out of their camp. "Are you ready?" Mary asked. Everyone knew the answer. No.
"Ok," Mary said to the Bandits. "First the pale guy." I knew she was talking about Daniel. They unbound Daniel and took him to the guillotine. "No!" I cried. Mary nodded and one of the Bandits put the gag back in my mouth.
Daniel tried to escape but the two guys dragging him had a good grip. Tears gushed down my face as if they were a waterfall.
As Mary, the Bandits, and Daniel faced one direction, a guy who had messy blonde hair with hazel eyes who looked about 30 came and put his index finger to his lips. He covered Byron, Beatrice, and I's mouthes and noses with a plastic mask. He put the same on him. He backed up and threw a dark blue ball on the ground right next to the guillotine. It exploded. Black and blue dust blinded my vision and I closed my eyes. What was happening?
I heard screaming and thumping. About half a minute later, I opened my eyes. The smoke and dust was cleared up. The man was untying Byron, Beatrice, and I. I looked over and saw Mary, the Bandits, and Daniel laying unconscious.
Once the man took the gag and mask away from my mouth I asked, "Who are you and what was that?"
"Well," He said untying me. Once he was done, I stood up. "My name is Peter Plum and I am the protector of the East Willow Forest. That's right, there is a protector." His voice was awfully high for a male.
"And," Peter continued. "That was a little thing I liked to call Carmo 13. But, it is really a carbon monoxide ball that can knock out or even kill anybody."
"Are they dead?" Byron asked.
"I doubt it," Peter responded in that high voice.
All I really cared about was Daniel so I ran over to check his pulse. He was alive. "Good, Daniel is alive."
"Then the other ones are probably to," Peter Plum said. "Would you like me to kill all but Daniel?" Beatrice nodded. The man took out a green gun and shot every last one of the West Willow Bandits in their head. He slapped his hands together.
"Well then," He added. "Would you guys like to stay in the East Willow Bead and Breakfast tonight? Since I am the protector, I can get you guys in without paying."
We all nodded.
"I'll get you the Premiere Suite," Peter said. "It had two rooms. One with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. It's awfully nice. Oh, and there food is exquisite. I bet you guys haven't had a good meal in days now."
"Nope," said Beatrice.
"Well than," Peter said excitedly. "We'll treat you to a big meal and you can stay at the bed for as long as you like. But, we are only paying for three meals for you. You will have to get a job if you would like to continue eating."
"Thanks for this," said Byron, carrying Daniel. "We really appreciate it."
"Oh no problem," responded Peter Plum.

A few hours later, we entered a small village. And when I say small, I mean tiny. It had about five shops lined next to each other, an outdoor theatre, the bed and breakfast, and a small chocolate factory.
Peter guided us to the hotel. By now, Daniel began to wake up. We explained to him what happened. We all entered the bed and breakfast. It was a cute place with old wood floors that creaked every time you took a step, a small chandelier, white walls, and velvety chairs and couches lining the room. "This is wonderful," said Daniel.
"Now," Peter said. "Let's go see your room." We followed him up the wooden stairs that spiraled around and around and around. When we finally got to our floor, we followed Peter Plum down to the end of the hallway. He took a rusty key out of his pocket and unlocked the old wood door. He opened it.
The room was nice. It had a small living room with a torn leather couch and a chair with feathers flying out of it. It had a small dining space with a table that could fit four people. There was a window seat and a large wooden window at the end of the living room. "This is amazing," said Beatrice. "Thank you so much Peter!"
We followed Peter into the room with one bed and the room with two beds. "Now," Peter said. "Get settled and I will see you in the dining room in an hour."
An hour later, Beatrice and I were running down the halls and stairs laughing. It felt could to feel like a kid again, even though I was 19. Byron and Daniel followed, talking.
When we reached downstairs, we saw a beautiful dining room with chandeliers, a long table, and velvety chairs. Peter was sitting there waiting for us.
We had a wonderful meal. I had salad, duck and lobster, and dark chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Peter was right. The food here was amazing.
After dinner, Beatrice, Byron, Daniel, and I went upstairs to go to bed. Beatrice and I slept together in the queen bed, while Byron and Daniel got their own twin beds. The minute I put my head down on the pillow, I fell fast asleep.
