Life felt like a big waste of time. I just wanted it to be over. Over everything, life was much worse than any fiery hell. That's how I felt as I walked out of the room where Byron was left bleeding, and I was to face my doom.
I was just glad that my life would be over once they point that gun at my head. Everything would be over.
I was taken to a room on the other side of the mysterious building. I smelled fresh blood. Tears rolled down my face. Where is Beatrice? Daniel? Stardust? I wondered if they were all dead.
I wondered where my parents were or the people in my village. I bet they didn't know what was coming next. Chris just disappeared and I have no idea where he went. I wish he would be good for once and let me go.
The stench of blood grew stronger and stronger as I was tied to a metal pole. I wanted to know what they were gonna do to the citizens. I wanted to know now. I was hoping they would tell me before they kill me.
A was left there for what felt like days. A man who I could tell was the grand duke came in to my room with about 10 guards.
"Let me explain something to you, oh dearest Destiny," the duke said. "You know you didn't do the things you were jailed for, don't you?" I nodded.
"To go on," the man continued. "The real reason we jailed you up is because we knew you were going to be a threat to our plan. You might be wondering, what plan? What could I possibly stop? Well, little innocent Destiny..." The grand duke walked about to me and squished my face with his cold hands.
"We are going to get everyone to bow down to me," the man said. I was shocked. "You see, a special gas called Cladmyte can make anyone worship a person of choice. And the King, well the king, thinks that you committed the crimes we said you did. But, once I release this gas the king will bow down to me, as well."
I was in total shock. So the royal family wasn't up to something! It was the grand duke who was up to something!
"Now, you will die," the grand duke spoke and my heart jumped. "And a few minutes after you die, well you see, I'm going to release the gas. Kill her!" My heart beat very fast as five of the guards pointed their guns at my head.
Tears streamed down my face as if they were a waterfall. This would be the end of me! The end!
Suddenly, all I saw and heard were the guns going off and the bullets planting into my skull. Their was a sharp pain. I could feel crisp fresh air dawning over me and the beautiful sound of chirping birds. I walked about steps made of clouds. Byron walked down and took my hand and said in a calm tone, "Welcome to heaven."
