I sighed. I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. But i knew who did it to the newest victim, there was no way that nobody would think Eddie did this. I suspected Vecna purposefully was doing this. Making people suspect Eddie somehow.

"Do they think Eddie did this? I asked. Dustin shrugged. "Most likely. I mean, apparently Hellfire Club is a cult." I frowned. I didn't know his name, but he certainly didn't deserve to die. "But now, Jason is even more pissed off, Lucas said. "Chrissy was his girlfriend."

"Oh, I feel bad for him, I frown. "I partly do, Lucas responded. "But he's going insane. He thinks Eddie murdered Chrissy, Patrick too most likely." "I wouldn't worry, I tell him. "He isn't going to hurt Eddie. Jason seems harmless."

"For now, Dustin says. "If he goes even more crazy." He had good intentions-ish. But I couldn't judge, i never met him. But from their words, He seemed psycho.

I could be completely judging someone poorly right now but they couldn't be wrong. Lucas especially. It seemed to be later when Eddie called in. 

"Dustin, can you hear me? Wheeler?"

"Eddie, holy shit, are you okay?"

"Nah, man, Pretty... Pretty goddamn far from okay."

I whisper, "Where is he?" Dustin asks, "Where are you?" Eddie responds, "Skull Rock. Do you know it?" "Uh, yeah, Dustin responds.

"That's near Cornwallis and-"

"Garrett, yeah. I know where that is."

"hold tight. We're coming. We're coming."

I sighed of relief, Eddie must be going through a lot right now. Being falsely accused of murder isn't fun. Just for being terrified after witnessing Chrissy dying, while being into D&D. I wanted to help him as much as possible. 

The scene was super crowded with reporters. I just know, Jason is pissed off even more now. Eventually, it seemed like we were lost or something. "Dude, I'm telling you,you're taking us the wrong way, Steve tells Dustin.

"It's north. I'm positive. I checked the map, Dustin replies. "You do realize Skull Rock,it's a super popular make-out spot? Steve tells him. 

"Yeah, so?"

"Yeah, well, it wasn't popularuntil I made it popular. All right? I practically invented it."

I muttered under my breath, "jesus christ." Steve added, "We're heading in the wrong direction." "Steve, Dustin spoke. "Where are you going? Steve!" He was walking in a new direction, I probably should listen to Dustin, but maybe follow Steve?

"Stop whining. Let's go. Trust me."

Max pipes in, "Okay, so apparentlywe're going this way now? I swear to God, if they get us lost..." "I might throw hands if they do, I pipe in. Max asks,"Hey. You okay?" Lucas responds,"Uh, yeah. I'm fine. Just... thinking about Patrick. You know?"

"Yeah."

Lucas concludes something perfect involving Vecna, his victims so far all had trauma in their life, but why? It didn't make sense either way. I smile seeing them having a lumax moment before piping in, "Might wanna hurry up!" before catching up to everyone else.

I just zoned out, being honest, this whole thing terrified me. I just hid it very well. I look behind, seeing Robin and Nancy. I hoped we'd be closer to Eddie, find out if he was doing fine or not. Well, no, obviously.

Suddenly, Steve says,"Oh, boom!  Bada bing, bada boom.There she is, Henderson. Skull Rock.  In your face, man.In your stupid, cocky little face." Puzzled, Dustin replies, "Doesn't make sense." Steve brags,"Yeah, yeah. Even with it staring you in the face, you can't admit it. Can't admit you're wrong, you butthead."

Eddie jumps down, startling us all. "I concur. You, Dustin Henderson, are a...total butthead." I chuckle. "Thank fucking god." "Jesus, we thought you were a goner, Dustin tells him, hugging Eddie.

"Yeah, me too, man. Me too."

I shivered when he spoke in my mind, feeling uncomfortable immediately. "When I got to the shore, I tried calling you guys, but, uh...Eddie began. "my walkie was busted, man. Drenched. So, uh, I did the thingthat I do now, apparently, I ran."

Nancy asks, "Do you know what time this was?The attack?" "Yeah, no, I... I knowexactly what time it was, Eddie responded." My walkie wasn't the only thingthat got soaked." He threw her something, not sure what.

"9:27, Nancy responded. "Same time our flashlights went kablooey, Robin piped in. Steve asks, "Which means what, exactly?" "That surge of energywas Vecna attacking Patrick, Nancy replied.

"Well, we're one step closer, Robin says. "We know how Vecna attacks." Lucas pipes in, "And where he attacks from." Max pipes in," So now we just need to sneak intohis lair in the Upside Down  and drive a stake through his heart."  "Which won't be easy, I reply. "Vecna's too powerful, there is no way he just accidently let you in his mind, Max."

Steve says, "A stake? Is he like a vamp?Is he a vampire?" "It was a metaphor, Max replies. Eddie pipes in, "A bullet should work on him, right?" "I say we chop his head off, Lucas suggests. "All of the above,but we can't do any of that, Nancy responds. "She's right, I agree. "till we find a way into the Upside Down, Nancy adds. 

"Maybe (Y/N) can help, Max suggests. "But we also need El to get her powers back." "Yeah, I reply. "I'm more stronger if El is with me." "Everything was way easier. We had this girl. She had superpowers, Steve sighs.

"Superpowers. Yeah, you mentioned her." 

"Still confused how i kept my powers but not her, I frown, confusedly, crossing my arms. "Hey, uh, Henderson's not, uh, cursed, is he? Eddie asks. I chuckle. " Cursed? No, no. He's fine, Steve responds. "Mental? Absolutely." "I can see why you would think that, I joke. 

"Boom! Dustin dramatically exclaims. "Bada... bada... boom. I was right, Skull Rock was north."

"Seriously? You're serious?"

"Mhm."

"This is Skull Rock. Okay?"

"Mhm."

"You're totally, absolutely, 100% wrong. Right now."

"Yes, and no."

"Oh my God."

"This worked correctly when we left the Wheelers, Dustin explains. "Correct when we got in the car on Curly. But it started to slip the further east we went. Now it's way off.  When I was leading us here, I wasn't wrong, The compass was."
