My 18th birthday is in two weeks and I remembered my parents won't be here. They always said that for my 18th birthday, they would take me to the best restaurant there is, and we would order 18 different desserts to try and rate from best to worst.

I stood behind a counter, silent tears falling down my cheeks while I was looking at the old family photo. We were all so happy then, nothing troubled us, we were together and happy.

I heard steps coming closer to the kitchen and I quickly wiped my face, but it was just Sebastian. My guard was always down with him, I could show my emotions with him and I wouldn't be judged.

He hugged me, not asking any questions, and I appreciate that. I can't talk now. After a minute or two he whispers "Let's sit down baby." And we sat there for god knows how long, me still having my face buried in his chest, sobbing uncontrollably. Only when Sarah came rushing down the stairs, asking what happened, Sebastian pulled away, letting Sarah hug me instead.

"I will go make breakfast. Any special wishes?" I shook my head no. "Sarah?" Her smile grew and Sebastian knew it. "Pancakes again?"

"Yes please." She said excitedly. Sebastian disappeared to the kitchen, and Sarah immediately turned to me and looked me in the eyes with a concerned expression. "What happened? Talk to me, Jules."

"My parents won't be here for my 18th birthday. All the plans, the promises, they fell down the drain." I sobbed on her shoulder.

"We will go out that day and distract you from thinking. You, me, Sam and Sebastian, okay? I will make you so drunk, you won't even know what day it is." I laughed and hugged her tight. She knows how to make it better, only with words.

"Why are we going out?" Sebastian questioned from the kitchen.

"For Julia's birthday in two weeks." Sarah said, like it was obvious.

"Your birthday is in two weeks? Why haven't you told me?" I hear Sebastian say from right behind me. I turned to him and his expression made me laugh. "What's funny now?"

"You are cute when you frown. Like an angry teddy bear."

"Don't make fun of me. I need to know that kind of information."

"I thought you knew all about me." I smirked at him.

He shook his head and I could see a hint of a smile in the corner of his mouth. We went to the kitchen and quickly stuffed ourselves with the pancakes before going to school.

Sebastian kissed me in front of my classroom again, making his teammates whistle and cheer him on. We laughed at their stupidity, and he sent them away.

"I have practice after school, come watch."

"I can't. I have to help Sarah with an assignment for history in the cafe. She is really behind and if she doesn't do this now, the teacher will skin her alive."

"Okay, then I will come pick you up."

"Okay, bye," I said and walked in, so I won't be late.

In biology, we were working in groups on some experiments. I always join the smart people because it's done fast and right. We were already done while the others were still working on it, so the teacher let us go early.

Sarah and I finished her assignment and she went home while I was waiting for Sebastians call. Suddenly, I saw Sebastian standing in front of his teammate like he was going to kill him. He grabbed his collar and threw him against a wall, making him wince. Oh Jesus, what happened now? I walked out so I could hear what they were talking about.

"If I ever hear you say anything like that again, I will break your hands. Do...you...understand?" He pushed him to the wall again and the guy nodded, scared shitless. "Words!" Sebastian yelled at him.

I saw his hand making a fist and I jumped in before he could hit him and get in trouble. "Bash, stop it! Calm down." He looked at me for a bit then glared back at the guy that was shaking from fear. "Let's go home. Come on." I pulled his hand and he followed me.

We were walking hand in hand for a few minutes before he started to calm down. "I should have beat him up."

I stopped and pointed for him to sit down, but I kept standing. "What happened?"

"Come here angel." I shook my head no and crossed my hands. He exhaled and leaned back. "They were talking about you, how beautiful you are, which I don't mind, because it's true. Kyle then stupidly said he would tap that fine ass. I lost it, he can't talk like that about my girl."

I smiled and sat on his lap, pecking his lips. "I am your girl and you are right, he went over the line. But it's not worth getting in trouble because of him." He nodded, kissing me again, now more intensely.

After eating the best lasagna I have ever had, Adam and I went to the playground with Lizzie and Bacon, so Bash could study in peace and Claire had work. Lizzie held both of our hands while happily running around.

I saw Courney walking by the playground with a strange look in her eyes. She was furious, and when she looked me directly in my eyes, I saw pure evil. What did she get in her head now?

When we got home, Lizzie immediately fell asleep, feeling exhausted from all that running. I knocked on Sebastian's door and quietly stepped in. Studying my ass, he fell asleep while reading the textbook.

My phone rang and I answered it, smiling when Bash covered himself over the head. "Hey Sarah, what's up?"

"Jules, you need to look at most of the stories on instagram." I put her on speaker and went to my insta.

"That fucking bitch. Really? I'm going to call you back, Sarah."

'Cheating on the basketball player with an older man who has a child.' Said the caption of the photograph. On the left was a picture of me and Sebastian at the carnival and the other was of me and Adam holding Lizzie at the playground.

"Who the fuck did that?" Sebastian said when he saw the picture.

"Courtney. I saw her walking by us before. But how does she have the picture from the carnival?"

"That stalker she-devil has some explaining to do."
