Error's POV

I felt a kiss on my cheek. I opened my eyes to see Ink. A smile appeared on my face before I gently kissed him back.

A few weeks ago, I confessed to the artist with the expectations that he would reject me but to my surprise, he liked me back. I couldn't describe how happy I was to be dating him.

I pulled Ink into a cuddle and exhaled comfortably. The hotel room was chilly but the bed was warm from the heat of our entangled bodies.

Ink moved up and kissed me, our lips locking together perfectly. When he pulled back to breathe, he cuddled into my chest.

Ink: We have to get up soon if we want to get to town before the morning traffic.

Me: I know but I don't want this moment to end. I want it to last forever.

I whined, keeping Ink's body close to me. He giggled but pushed himself up from the bed. He started putting on clean clothes for the day.

Ink: I guess I'll be getting chocolate cinnamon rolls all by myself.

Me: Alright, I'm up.

I groaned, slipping out of the covers. I was never going to say no to chocolate rolls. Over the time that we had travelled, I was able to try new foods. Some of them were weird but others became my favorites.

As we explored the different parts of the country, Ink filmed our adventures with his phone. Occasionally, I would have the phone. The videos with Ink in it were the cuter ones with mine being mostly funny.

After we had changed and left the hotel, we made our way to my favorite breakfast place.

The interior was built almost like a cozy cottage and the food was amazing. The vintage designed chairs were plush and the tables were made of sturdy wood.

This place always seemed to be busy anytime of the day, with costumers lining up at the counter while others waited for their orders. Despite the high amount of people that came, the workers never slowed down.

Ink and I placed an order before we found our favorite spot in the corner. We were lucky it wasn't taken.

My boyfriend pulled out his phone and began researching.

Ink: So where do you want to go?

Me: I don't know. Maybe that world market a few blocks away. We could pick some snacks to take with us to the next state.

Ink nodded, typing down notes.

Ink: I want to go the beach tonight.

Me: That's a good idea.

(Time Skip)

Ink and I laid on a beach blanket together that was spread across the black sand. We stared at the starry night sky. I taught my boyfriend the constellations that I knew and gave him some trivia about each one.

After I shared all of my knowledge, silence fell between us. Ink shifted towards me and cuddled into my chest.

Ink: If you weren't sick, would our life still be the same?

Me: Of course it would, with just a few small different details. In fact, I've already thought out what it could be like.

I said confidently.

Me: You would have a job in something related to refined arts and I would work with programming. I'm pretty good with numbers. We would be settled down, have two kids.

Ink: Wow... two... I wasn't expecting a number.

He said while slightly giggling. Ink stopped and looked up at me.

Ink: If we did have kids, what would you name them?

I was quiet for a second. I had put some thought into it but never enough to be certain with both, just one.

Me: I like the name PaperJam. That name has always been interesting to me. How about you?

Ink sighed as he thought. He eventually gave me an answer.

Ink: Gradient.

Me: That's a pretty name.

Ink: I agree.

We laid there for hours, fantasizing about our pretend life. We even gone as far as to add our little family imperfections. One of the brothers would be the trouble maker with the other being the rational one. It caused jealousy. I was jealous of "pretend me" for not having cancer and having a wonderful family with Ink.

  He had everything. His life...

Was so perfect
