Steve pondered the thought of hanging out with a freak like Munson. Steve hated the fact that he enjoyed hanging out with Eddie. If anyone were to find out about the recent friendship between Eddie the freak and Steve. Harringtons whole life would be crushed. Everyone already called Steve a faggot, but that wasn't Steve's fault it was Billy's. The year before this Billy and Steve got close maybe to close. For the most part Harrington was used to getting called these disgusting names, but if anyone found out about Eddie, Steve didn't even want to think of the consequences if someone were to know. It's not like Steve and Eddie did anything they hung out a smoked a little but I mean that was mostly it. That afternoon Steve got home and got ready for work, grabbing his Family Video vest and his pin that had his name on it. He left in a rush not wanting to be late for work...again. Steve pushed the doors open and jumped over the desk to stand where he could ring up movies and welcome guest. Robin stood silently with an unenthusiastic glare in her eye.
"You're late again, dingus," she said sternly.
"Sorry Robin, there has just been a lot on my mind," Steve responded.
Robin rolled her eyes and said sarcastically, "Oh, can't imagine what that is."
Steve glared at her confused by her sarcasm. Ding! The bell that is attached to the door rang. In walked a pale man with long hair and a leather jacket.
"No, No, no, Not Munson not now," Steve quietly whined. Eddie walked past the desk glaring at the other boy with a smirk. He walked over to the romance movies than walked back to the desk.
"Can I get some help looking for a romance movie?" Eddie asked.
Robin responded, "yeah, Harrington knows about all the romance movies." Steve sighed and walked out from behind the desk to lead Eddie back to the romance section.
"What are you looking for?" Steve questioned.
"Well I was wondering if you had any.. well erm.. ones with guys," Eddie answered.
"Yeah they all have guys in them, Munson," he said blatantly like Eddie was stupid.
"No Harrington, like only guys," Eddie admitted.
"Oh shit, umm we have My Beautiful Laundrette but I think that's it," Steve said smiling. Eddie looked at him and grabbed the movie from his hand and took it to Robin. Eddie slammed the movie on the desk and after he paid he hurried out of the building.~~~EDDIES POV~~~
Eddie thought for a second, did he really want to go through with this as he stood in front of the large green building which is Family Video. He breathed in mustering as much courage as he could and confidently walked in. Munson walked straight forward and looked at the perfect mess which is Steve. Each step brought him closer to the shelf of romance movies. He glanced over them picking up one or two then wandered back to the desk to ask for help. Him and Robin talked she was going to get Steve to help Eddie find a movie and that's how he would tell Steve he is... well.. gay. Eddie walked behind Harrington and admired his brunette hair that some how fell perfectly into place. Eddie is dazed by how gorgeous Steve is. He wasn't paying attention all he had to do was tell Steve he was looking for a romance movie between 2 men, how hard could it be. After finally gaining enough courage to speak up he got the movie and left. He was terrified what if Steve didn't get what Eddie was trying to say or what if Steve wasn't the same. Eddie knew Steve was fine with the gay stuff for crying out loud Robin is his best friend.
