Broken Luck

Eddie walked into the cafeteria that was full of students by the time he entered, he went through the line making small talk with the lunch ladies. He got his food and walked to his normal table sitting with Mike, Dustin, Gareth, and Jeff. Eddie slammed a magazine against the table as he sat down, he opened it mimicking the news reporter who wrote that DnD was causing satanic worship. He finally had enough he stood up on the table and yelled, "As long as your into band or science or parties," he said making his voice high, "or a game where you toss balls into laundry baskets," he yelled as he looked at the basketball king Jason.
In response Jason yelled, "Do you want something, freak!" To retaliate Eddie put his fingers above his head in devil horn manor and stuck his tongue out taunting the popular teen. Eddie glanced over to the left to see Steve sitting next to one of his friends Robin Buckley, Eddie and Robin met when She came to him to for help about like someone of the same gender she was so lost and she knew Eddie was gay at that time. Steve has never seen Robin and Eddie hang out because Robin knows that Steve would probably be upset with her. Eddie smiled at Robin as he sat back down at his designated seat at his table. He watched Steve leave the table he was sitting at seconds ago Robin was watching the same thing with a confused look. Eddie decided to leave lunch early as well, but not to follow Steve is was so he could go smoke a joint from the back exit of the school. The weed had calmed him down and he was ready to go on with his day.

Steve could feel a small knot in his stomach after eating so he walked away from the table without telling Robin where he was going he left the lunch room and headed toward the bathroom, thinking he might be sick though he knew deep down that wasn't what the knot was. That night around 7:15 he had called Heidi one of his not girlfriends. He asked if she could come over he needed a girl to make him stop feeling this way. He could fix himself. A knock echoed through Steve's house he ran down the hall to welcome in Heidi.
"Hey, thanks for coming," Steve welcomed.
Heidi nodded in response letting herself into his house. He grabbed her hand and took her upstairs and she gave him a smirk and a knowing look. She sat on his bed and Steve climbed on top of her. His lights were off and sunset was just beginning. It got dark quickly and Steve was kissing this girl and struggling with her pants buttons he finally got it and she was fiddling with Steve's belt and Steve reached over to his nightstand grabbing a condom and putting it on. He tried to enjoy what was happening but he kept thinking about what happened this isn't what he should be doing. He continued until she finished and then stopped immediately after. Pulling his pants back on and rebuckling his belt. He ushered for the girl to leave and she whined before being told to get out of Steve's house. Steve walked downstairs and shooed her out the door he walked to the kitchen grabbing a 12 pack of beer and walking out to his pool he took his pants back off and drank jumped in the pool, he swam back to the edge and opened a cold beer chugging it quickly just trying to numb his brain.
