Steve POV
———
I sat down next to Eddie, everyone else seemed to be trying to get in the last amount of sleep that they could. Eddie and I were wide awake. The only other person who wasn't fast asleep was Nancy, but she had some earbuds in, and was tuning everyone out. She said that when Mike would sleep, he would snore, so she would always put in earbuds, it's a habit of hers. I could see some of the other kids in groups. Lucas and Max were huddled together, I could see that their relationship was starting a new, they were good together, Erica was sleeping near them, and Dustin across from the three, Robin was crossing her arms and napping in her own seat, and Nancy was occasionally looking over at the kids, it was almost like a calm before the storm kind of feeling. Everyone was calm and relaxed, It was probably gonna be the first good nights sleep for a while. Since the sun was setting, we were gonna find a spot to park, and set up our weapons. Then first thing in the morning, set everything up. While they were in the store they got me a hat and some nails, so it was time for the return of the nailed bat. I still had it at my home, but going back would be too risky. Plus, I didn't feel like seeing my family right now. I had the only family I needed right here, the kids, maybe Robin and Nancy could be "the cool aunts". I chuckled to myself, and of course, Munson would be the-  "Nancy seems to be the only other one awake." Eddie looked over at me and shuffled closer to where I was sitting. I got a little startled, since I was in my train of thought, but I didn't mind too much. "Yea, she's had trouble sleeping ever since one of her friends went missing, Barb, she was killed by one of the creatures in the upside down." I told him, "She cared about Barbara so much, it sucks, I could've helped Nancy look for her but I didn't, I was an ass back then and that's why we broke up." Eddie didn't seem to be surprised at the part of me and Nancy being exes. "Do you still like Nancy?" His voice seemed quieter when he asked. "No, I mean, a while ago I thought I still did, but no definitely not anymore." He seemed sort of relieved, but I was too dumb to figure out why. We stayed silent for a little bit. "Do you ever have some sort of weird fantasy's?" I asked, he laughed a bit at the question. "What?"
"For example, sometimes I dream about being older, and driving in a camper just like this one, every summer I'd take me and my kids, I'm thinking like, six of em, six little Harrington nuggets." I told him.
"Six? If only you had some experience with that." he looked over at the kids, all sleeping, and looked back over to me. "Your gonna need a partner to be able to handle all of it, sure you can handle these kids, but it's gonna drive you mental." He put his hand on mine. I smiled and felt my face getting hotter. But I didn't let it show. "Hey, so on almost the other side of the country, around the eastern part of the US, there's a concert going on, Metallica, have you heard of if?" He asked me, I nodded. I've heard of them, and I've even listened to their songs a couple of times. "I'm going to one of their concerts, but because of all this going on, and since I ordered the tickets for me and a plus one before this happened, I'm gonna have to wear a mask, but because it's all the way across the states, I doubt I'll be recognized." He said. "Would you like to be my plus one?" I didn't know what to say, it would be incredibly dangerous considering Eddie is a wanted man, but how could I say no? I made up my mind and looked over at him. "Are you inviting me on a date?" I asked him, mostly joking. He gave me a smirk, and backed me up towards the corner of the trailer. Putting a hand on my cheek and turning me to look at him. "Do you want it to be, Harrington?" He asked me. My throat felt dry, and I couldn't get out the words. He grabbed my chin, pulling my face towards his. "I didn't get to show you what I wanted to at the trailer, I hope we don't get any more interruptions." I nodded, slowly. My brain was all over the place, jangled up, what was he doing? Was he actually going to do it? Was he teasing me? I had no idea. Eddie noticed that I looked completely badazzled. "Nervous? Don't be, Harrington." He pulled our faces closer together, our lips almost touching. "Do you wanna see something cool, Steve Harrington?" He asked me. Oh my god this was actually happening. "I've been waiting to see it ever for a while, Munson." He smirked. He pulled me in for a kiss, I felt sparks, sparks I never felt with anyone, not even Nance. After what felt like minutes we pulled away for air, our faces were red, and I gave eddie a look before pulling him in for another kiss, I pushed him onto the couch we were sitting on, as we started to make out. Our bodies pressed against eachother, as atmosphere felt like it was getting hotter and hotter as each passing minute went by. I looked over to see if anyone was watching, but Eddie just grabbed my face and pulled me back over to him. Nothing else truely mattered right now. I kissed Eddie's forehead as we both panted, we sat up, and leaned back, I kissed him one more time, as we both huddled up in the corner. "No one told me you were a good kisser, Harrington." Eddie said, teasing me. "Keep it in your pants, Munson." I jokingly flicked his nose and he laughed. I yawned, and he did as well. We both started to cuddle up, as we both drifted off.

Robin POV
———
I sneakily opened one of my eyes once more, seeing that they were finished. I looked away from the mirror on the roof of the car, me and Nancy looked over at each other, whispering. "About time." I said, offering her a tiny fist bump, she returned it.
