Title is a reference to my favorite musical, Beetlejuice. Although this song is probably my least favorite, it is still among one of the amazing songs in the entire show, amazing songs, meaning all of them, they are all good

Eddie POV
———
My eyes fluttered open as I looked around, everyone was already.. gone. I got up from where I was sleeping, I remember falling asleep right next to — oh my god. My heart flipped, as I remembered the night before.

Steve and I had been kissing — no, full on making out. But — where was he now? Where was everyone. He worriedly went over to the door of the car and opened it franticly. He sighed of relief, seeing that everyone was simply getting their weapons ready. What time was it? The sun was bright, so it must've been sometime in noon. Damn I overslept, I thought. I walked over towards Dustin, he was by himself.

He looked over and saw me, laughing. "Do you know what time it is?" He asked. I rolled my eyes jokingly. "Time for you to tell me what your working on over here." I laughed, Dustin's pile of stuff was a mess, and completely unorganized. "It's 2pm." He punched my shoulder and I ruffled his hair.

"Come on, let's get you sorted out, if we use these nails and this lid of a trash can, we can make a couple attack-shields." I said, jamming a nail through one of the lids, him doing the same to the other one we had. "There you go." This was probably how Steve felt sometimes, helping the children and watching them grow up, it was nice.

Steve POV
———
Robin and I were working on the bottles we would throw at Vecna so the son of a bitch would light up, and flame himself into smithereens. "Your boyfriends awake." Robin teased, I saw Eddie come out of the trailer, a blush going over my face as he winked at me. I looked back over at Robin, clearing my throat. "He's not my boyfriend." I said to her, not looking up from what I was doing. "Yea that make out session really does prove your point, my mistake, sorry." She smirked over at me. I nearly chocked on air. How the hell did she know about that. "What?" I played dumb, stuttering on my words.

"Don't play dumb with me, didn't think to check if anyone was actually sleeping, did you?" She asked. "Nance and I both saw you hardcore making out with Eddie Munson, don't even deny it anymore." I stayed silent. "What made you change your mind from the whole thing about loving girls so much?"

"Well —" I paused, I didn't even know why. "You should probably ask Eddie that question." I suggested. She nodded. "Oh sir Eddie, how on earth did you make the straight white man, precious King of Hawkins high fall for the leader of a nerdy DND club?" Robin joked. It reminded me of when we were in the bathrooms of the Starcourt mall, discussing about random stuff and making each other laugh. I took a second, and my face went serious. "I'm sorry about Vickie." I said, her face turned to a frown. "It's ok, she wasn't the right person, I guess." She replied. "It's not important right now, given everything that's going on the stakes of my love life seem spectacularly low."

"Everything's so messed up right now, I'm afraid that this time, we aren't going to win. We're dealing with something much bigger than before, what if this time it won't be as easy?" She said.
"It's never been easy, I'm sure we can push through just like we've done before, this is my fourth time song this shit, and hopefully the last." I replied, trying to consul her. I looked over at Eddie, him and Dustin were messing around. I was worried, worried for him. He hasn't done this before. What if he underestimates this place? What if he ends up like me, being mauled by bats.

"Ok everyone." Nancy stood up, her and Max had been working on the gun. "Is everything ready?" She asked, I gave her the thumbs up for me and Robin's group, Lucas and Erica gave their thumbs up, and so did Dustin and Eddie. We all started to pick up our stuff, and walk back towards the trailer.

Robin POV
———
Everyone piled into the car, me and Nancy took the front. This was it. The drive to our battle. Everyone was anxious. "I briefly saw what happened between you and that guy at the store." Nancy mentioned. "What?" I was confused.
"You saw two people kissing, and you seemed sad." Nancy replied. Oh god, she thought I liked Vickie's boyfriend. "No — that's not it Nancy." I shifted myself in my seat, not knowing what to say. I took a water bottle we had and took a sip,"Do you like the girl?" Nancy asked, I spit out my water, almost chocking on it. "I'll take that as a yes." she laughed. "It's ok, I don't mind. My little brother has one of his friends definetly crushing on him, it also explains why Steve hasn't already tried to hit on you."

"I think he's a little busy with something else." I said, pointing towards the mirror on the top of the van, it showed Steve and Eddie — making out again. "They got comfortable." I joked. Nancy laughed and turned back over to me. "What's the name of the girl?" She asked.
"Vicky."
"Vickie is missing out, after I spent some time with you, I realized your a pretty good person Robin, if she isn't jumping at the chance to date you, she's missing out."

I blushed at what Nancy said, she was unintentionally flustering me. I guess I have been paying some extra attention to her lately, equally dividing my attention between her and the love birds in the back seat. I smiled at Nancy. "Don't work yourself up over her, you deserve better. Heck, if I had the chance to date you I would." She said.

I don't think she realized she just flirted with me, she didn't even look over at me or anything. She was probably just trying to get me to feel better. I didn't mind it though. "Heh —" I mumbled out. I saw Nancy look up at the mirror and her eyes immediately darted away. I was about to look up to see why, when I heard the answer

"Oh ~ Eddieee not there — ohHHH"
