Steve POV
———
I can't believe we are quite literally going to the house of the drug dealer of a drug dealer that's a wanted criminal for murder, that has been living in my head rent free for no reason. I never thought I'd even be in this scenario. Might be the first one honestly. I'm the only one of these kids that can even drive, so I can barely even focus on my thoughts about this while I have to focus on driving. Dustin is sitting next to me in the passenger seat, I don't even know why Robin let him. He's blabbering to me about Eddie, how cool he is, and how he would never murder anyone. "Listen Steve, I know you may have some doubts about Eddie, but I know him, if Mike were here, he'd tell you the same, Eddie is not a murderer. He's a super cool guy." Dustin didn't stop at that, kept repeating the same thing over and over. I was about to stop this car and kick him to the side of the road, when I noticed that we had just arrived at the house. I stopped and parked the car.

Dustin hopped out of his seat and slammed the door behind him, running towards the house. It seemed to be abandoned, like no one had been there for a while. We all went in behind Dustin and searched the house. Nothing. "We should probably just go back to the store, lost cause." I said, starting to walk back to the car. "I found something!" Robin shouted, I groaned, expecting it to be something that didn't give us any leads whatsoever. Despite that, I went over anyways, she found another shed like area behind the house. We went in and started looking around. I noticed an ore, probably for the lake behind the house. The house was tight on the edge of lovers lake, which was a definite spot for couples that wanted a romantic scenery. I thought about taking Nance here when we were still dating. Just then I saw a tarp, weird. I grabbed the ore and started jabbing at the tarp, Robin looked at me weirdly, and Max was telling me to stop and quit it, or just pull off the tarp. After a while I reached down and was just about to pull it off, when it flung at me, someone put a cold knife to my neck and pinned me against the wall. The room irrupted in shouting as I realized it was Eddie. I felt my stomach churn, my heartbeat increasing, I just assumed it was due to the fact that my life was on the line here, and not the fact that Eddie was on top of me, and pinning me to the wall.

"Hey! Hey hey hey! Eddie it's me! It's Dustin!" Dustin shouted, he told me to drop the ore and I did, the next couple seconds was Dustin pleading with Eddie to put the knife down, and that we weren't here trying to send him to jail. "We believe you Eddie, we don't think you killed Chrissy!" Eddie took a couple seconds looking at Dustin, before letting me go, and backing up. Dustin started to explain everything, the upside down, the strange things happening in Hawkins. Eddie seemed taken aback. "So.. there's apparently another world beneath ours, that a nerd, a ginger, a band kid, and goddamn Steve Harrington are the only people that know about it?" He asked, I felt a little awkward when he singled me out, but I didn't say anything. Dustin explained more with the government, the Russians, and all this other stuff. "We're going to find whatever is doing this, and we are going to kill it, and prove your innocence. Ok Eddie?" Eddie nodded. Dustin, Max and Robin started to head towards the car to plan out our next action, since we are now dealing with a creature from a different dimension, again. Just as I was about leave the door, I was stopped by hearing my name from behind me. "Hey Harrington." I heard Eddie call out. I turned around and looked over at him, feeling my stomach knot itself up. "Yea?" I asked. "I'm surprised the douche isn't actually what a rich kid is said out to be, your a pretty cool dude for taking care of those kids." He laughed and punched my shoulder, I laughed and punched him back. "One more thing." Eddie got closer to me, and laughed. "Bring me some food, Reefer Rick doesn't seem to be stocked up." I quickly nodded and waved as I rushed at the door. Heading towards Robin and the kids. "What took you so long?" Robin looked at me, giving me a certain raise of the eyebrow. "Eddie wants us to get him some food." I said, talking quickly and getting into the car, Robin sat next to me this time. She gave me a smirk, seeming to know that I took so long, because I was talking to Eddie. Max and Dustin were in the back seat discussing what they should do, and weren't listening to me and Robin. "What did you two talk about." She asked me, still giving me a smirk.  "It was nothing much, just asked me for the food, and said he appreciated me taking care of the kids." I leaned back in my seat and tried to block out Eddie from my mind, and Robin's constant chatter. But I couldn't, I was thinking to myself way too much, about, you guessed it, Eddie Munson
