Chapter 5

3rd Person's Point Of View:

The group was currently walking at the beach and to the temple to get some rest, They were going to meet Lapis, but then decided to call it day, they'd get to do that tomorrow anyway, as the two hybrids conversed once again falling behind a bit.

" You are one lucky person Steven, going on adventures in such a young age, going back and forth in outer space!" Boy was Y/n giddy today, making friends with alien ex enemies was just so awesome, too bad she didn't get to experience that first hand. Steven turned pink, no not the diamond pink Steven, but his cheeks sure were.

" You are making alien friends right now" Steven told her, a hand behind his neck. Guess he still wasn't used to compliments. The girl just gave him a closed eyed smile. He smiled back.

- Hm? I somehow sense some chemistry between these two, and I am not even scientist- Jorge thought.

The sun was slowly setting, indicating that the day is slowly coming to it's end. The waves crashing in the shore and the beach house was closing in. Truth be told they're feet were little sore from walking.

" Oi, N/n, you do realize we haven't got place to stay for tonight, right?" Jorge asked his female cousin. And by the look of realization on her face she forgot about that part. She chuckled nervously, as her cousins rolled their eyes in amusement.

" Awe, our N/n got so caught up in her own magical world she forgot she was human and needed sleep" Jean snickered. " Shut up, ya bleach blonde bimbo" Y/n retorted, giving the twenty four year old a smack on his head.

" Ow, geez, chill out woman" he also gave her a flick on her forehead, away from her tiny gem of course. " Well I ain't the adult here am I?" she argued back crossing her arms over her chest.

" How dare you!" Jean was fuming, and was now running after the female hybrid around the sand beneath their shoes, both laughing. She smirked and hovered above the twenty four year old, her water wings on her back.

" Hey, no wings!" Jean shouted.

Steven chuckled. " You guys can crash at our place for the night" He suggested. " Oh no, we'll find a place to stay, we've burdened you guys enough" She shook her head and smiled. " You're no burden at all, we'd love you guys to stay" Pearl interjected. "I don't think-" Y/n started but was cut off by her fourteen year old cousin saying " We'd love too!"

Y/n furrowed her brows. " Shame on you" she told her younger cousin.

" That's great!" Steven said as he clasped his hands together. The group nodded. " Now, come on N/n pick me up so we can get our stuff in the van, meet ya guys there!" Tommy instructed and held his hands up. The female hybrid just rolled her eyes playfully and grabbed his hands with a little smile on her face.

-This day has been a blast, can't wait for tomorrow! I get to meet more people!- Y/n thought as she flew with her cousin Tommy to where they parked the van.
