3rd Person's Point Of View:
Steven found himself by the lighthouse, noticing a figure at the edge, the person was flickering from S/c to blue.
"Y/n" he called out. But she didn't hear him.
Getting closer to the female hybrid, he could hear her sobbing. He could feel his heart drop at the sight of her and hear her crying.
He sat beside her. "Hey" he called out to her again, placing hand on her shoulder. When she looked at him her eyes full of tears, and ruined make up.
- She looks so broken- he thought sadly.
He wrapped his arms around her and into a hug. Y/n hugged him back, holding on to him as if her life depended on it.
" What's. . . Happening to me, Steven?" she asked, continuing to sob on his shoulder. Steven started to stroke her hair in a comforting manner. He shushed her softly. " It's okay, we're okay, calm down, everything's going to be fine, I'm right here, it's okay, you're okay" he whispered to her.
He repeated this action and it lulled the poor Female hybrid to sleep, in his embrace.
An Hour Later. . .
Steven opened the door to the beach house, also known as the temple.
All heads turned to him and the figure in his arms he was carrying, sleeping soundly.
" Thanks" Tommy thanked him and took his female cousin from the male hybrid's arms and up to his room.
Steven plopped on the couch with a groan.
" You're lucky enough to calm her down" Twitchelle stated from the counter. " Usually, when she has one of her breakdowns, none of the family can calm her down, not even her own father" she continued.
Steven raised a brow. "What do you mean by that?" he asked the fourteen year old.
" Whenever our N/n would have a breakdown like this" Tommy sighed from the stairway. "It would go on for days, weeks even, and when she does, it usually rains, supposed to. . ." he trailed off.
The front door opened once again, the rest of the group stepping inside.
" Weird. . . It didn't rain" Connie said. " It was very cloudy a while ago" she pondered.
" Bluebird, she calmed down, that's new" Jean said.
The two of his cousins nodded. Jorge sighed as he plopped beside Steven.
" I'm guessing this was your doing, pal?" he asked him. Steven just nodded in response putting a hand over his eyes.
" I, do not follow" Connie said sheepishly.
" Y/n, being a half Lapis lazuli, can bend water to her will see, and maybe because of her being half human, can make it rain whenever she was upset, or like this, sad, or depressed" Tommy informed her.
" But after today, she calmed down because Steven here, was with her" Jean pondered, looking at the male hybrid.
" This wasn't the first incident, was it?" Twitch asked, as the cousins eyed the group before them suspiciously.
As the group, especially Steven tensed up.
The human cousins of the female hybrid stared at them nonchalantly, eyes with suspicion.
