3rd Person's Point Of View:

Time: 10:30

"So you're telling me, just a year ago, Steven here, got corrupted, but then you guys gave him a 'family hug' then he's back to normal? " Jean asked, summarizing the past events.

The gems, female human and male hybrid nodded.

Jorge sighed heavily. " That won't work on her, though" he grumbled.

" Especially with the L/n blood, quiet, smart, cunning and then you have, M/L/n { Mother's Last Name(Adoptive)}, careless, trust issues and bad temper, with that mix, you could have one powerful corrupted Y/n around" Tommy added, wiping his face in his hands in frustration.

"But if Steven is with her, don't ya think she'll be okay" Twitch asked from her seat. The people around her raised a brow in confusion. The fourteen year old rested her head on her palm.

"Look, as long as someone is with her, who has been through the same process, she'll be fine" Twitch explained.

Tommy shot up, as the group whipped their heads his way. " As long as you" he pointed at the male hybrid. "Keep her from going code blue we'll be okay, then those bastards won't hurt her" he continued.

" Wait,,, wait, what do you mean by 'those bastards'?" Connie asked.

The three other cousins glared at the sixteen year old. Tommy just gave them an apologetic look for his slip up. "Let's just say 'Area 51' is after N/n because she's some kind of 'threat to society'" Jorge responded while crossing his arms over his chest.

Jean yawned. " But we will discuss this another time, as long as they don't find us, we'll be fine, plus we in a place full of gems, whatever bull crap they throw at us they'll just have to face another tsunami" he told them as he climbed up the stairs, followed by his other cousins.

Time: 3: 45

The male hybrid stirred in his sleep. Waking up to an open balcony.

= I was sure I closed that earlier= he thought as her begrudgingly got up to to close the door to it.

But before he could he heard a soft melody coming from up above.

= The roof= he concluded in his thoughts.

He quickly got his jacket and started to climb up the roof in three in the morning, he should really get some proper sleep.

His eyes widened in surprise when he saw the female hybrid sitting on the edge, staring at the distance with an unreadable expression.

He carefully walked towards her.

" Be careful now, wouldn't want you to fall, Steven Universe" the H/c girl glanced at him.

=Her voice sounded different= Steven observed, as he finally sat beside her.

" How'd you know it was me?" he asked her. She just shrugged, still looking to the distance.

" I wasn't always this bubbly" The female hybrid told him. " I wasn't this open to people, including to family" she paused, and glanced at him. " But somehow, I cried in front of a stranger" she chuckled.

And the male hybrid just listened.

"Yesterday" she started, finally facing him. " You called me Blue" she added. Her eyes were cold and empty to Steven, he was used to her smiling and see her eyes warm. He didn't like this.

" Sorry, I panicked" he chuckled, as he looked at her.

She smiled. " Thank you" she thanked him, taking him aback.

= How could she be cold then be warm the next?= he questioned in his mind.

" Do you mind if I give you a nickname to?" the female hybrid asked him.

" Su- sure, I mean, of- of course" he stuttered.

She laughed. " Stevie" she said. "Stevie and Blue" she added with a smile.
