Rise of the Guardians (Jack Frost x reader)

Believing

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

All he does is jump and end up being on the table near me, so I flinch and still point the bat at him which made him say "I'm Jack Frost." I finally take in his full appearance; he has white hair as his skin is really pale while his eyes are blue. He's wearing a dark blue hoodie that has some ice on the shoulders and he's wearing brown pants. My eyes widen as I look at him and end up dropping the bat "you... you're Jack Frost? The Jack Frost. The one that people say is just a myth?!" I whisper yell so I wouldn't wake up Sophie.

Jack smiles saying "yeah! That's me" he laughs a bit more before jumping down onto the floor in front of me, so I smile at him. "I... I always thought you were real, but I didn't think I'd get to see you in person" I say and side smile. He just hugs me saying "I'm just glad someone finally believes in me" I smile and hug back. That made me a bit confused though, so I take a step back saying "what do you mean?.." Jack looks down. "I've been around for three hundred years, no one believed in me... so I was on my own for a while."

That made me frown as he says "there's the other guys, but no human believed in me... so I got kinda lonely" I side smile. Punching his shoulder softly I say "well, I believe in ya, Frost - you're not alone anymore." Jack smiles before saying "what's your name though?" "(Y/n)... what were you doing at Jamie's house? I know he can't see you." He puts his hook on his shoulders behind his head as he says "just giving the kids some fun. I might as well be the person in charge of it" I chuckle at that and say "well, thank you for all the snow, Jack."

He smiles and nods saying "no problem" with that I try to think of a few things "the guys?.. who'd you meet?" "The Guardians." "Wow, that answers nothing" I joke as I pick up the bat and put it back where I keep it. Jack chuckles saying "other beings like me... you probably know them" "do I now?" I keep teasing. 'Like I'd know who he met' I think a bit in disbelief, so he stands right in front of me causing me to flinch. "Ever hear of Santa?" He asks while raising an eyebrow, my eyes widen as I chuckle softly.

"Santa's real too?!" I think and smile big, so he nods "decent guy..." "the Easter Bunny??" I ask before putting my hand over my mouth. Jack rolls his eyes softly "yeah, a big annoying kangaroo too" I chuckle at that. "He's actually one of the Guardian's too" Jack added on, so I finally decided to ask what that meant. "Guardian??" "I don't really know myself, all I know is that's what they call themselves." I blink a few times "who else is there?" I ask as I shift my weight onto my other foot.

Jack smiles saying "Tooth and Sandy" my eyes widen "the Tooth Fairy?!?" I whisper yell, so he chuckles while nodding. "Wait, why are you whispering??" He asks confused while tilting his head, so I motion mine to the couch. "Sophie's here and she's taking her nap" I explain which made him nod in understanding. Then he says "mind if I chill out here for a bit?" I shake my head saying "by all means, stay. It'll be fun to have someone here who... isn't this many" I hold up two fingers which made him chuckle.

I check the time saying "I think she has to wake up soon though, think she'll enjoy the little snowmen I put over on the porch?" Jack looks outside. He seen the snowmen I moved and smiles saying "definitely" "so... tell me about yourself. What's there to know about Jack Frost? Besides the fact you could nip at my nose" I joke with him. He chuckles saying "oh wow, I don't even know how that started - I mainly like to let kids have fun. Jamie might be my favorite" "he is a pretty cool kid" I agree as I sit here, but I didn't know what else to say.

Jack then says "when does Sophie need to wake up?" "What time is it??" I ask, so he looks at the time of the oven since he has a better view than me. "Five-" "right now" I say and stand up "I'll be back, her mom is gonna come over at six to pick her up." Jack nods as I walk towards the living room and start poking her head, she looks up at me. "(Y/n)!" She says happily, so I chuckle saying "you still have an hour to play, Soph." She gets up and gets her coat and shoes back on, but she seen the snowmen instantly.

"Who moved the snowmans?!?" She asked happily, so I chuckle at the way she asked the question and think on who to answer that with. "Remember how I told you about Jack Frost?" I ask her, so she nods and I say "it was him. He doesn't nip at noses though; he lets us have all the fun we want with snow!" She gasps before smiling big. Then she looked behind me "who's that?" She asked before tilting her head. "Wait... you got her to believe in me?!?" Jack asks confused, so I chuckle and say "I guess so."

Sophie giggled before running out and playing in the snow again, I walk out again to keep an eye on her but see Jack floating around. She wasn't paying attention to him, but he started to make a bit more snow for her to play with. I smile at this and say "ya know... knowing you is so much better than trying to think on how you'd be." He smiles at me saying "is it, now?" I felt my face warm up a bit before I look to the side saying "yeah. You're cooler than I thought you'd be" Jack groaned a bit saying "oh no, not the puns!" We both laugh a bit at that.
