Rise of the Guardians (Jack Frost x reader)

Center?

Honestly I stand up saying "if anything I'd rather have cookies if all you have is sweets, but if not - I'll wait til I get home to eat." "When was the last time you ate??" Jack asks me, so I shrug saying "this morning." He softly facepalms as North threw the cake away and the sound of glass shattering made me flinch. "Now we get down to tacks of brass" North says while popping his knuckles, my eyes widen as I go back by Jack. I hard swallow as he did this, but Jack says "tacks of-" then the door shut closed and it looks like there's no way out.

I grab Jack's arm again, but he put me behind him as North stepped close while staring us down- well, could be Jack he's staring down. "Who are you, Jack Frost?" North asked as he keeps walking closer "what is your center?" He asks again. Jack is basically forced against me as he looks up at North confused "my 'center'?" He asks him. North didn't move though as I hide my face in Jack's back "if Man in Moon chose you to be Guardian, you must have something very special inside." He finally took a few steps back while stroking a specific part of his beard a bit with a smile.

He walks towards this shelf saying "here is how you see me, no? Very big, intimidating - but if you get to know me a little-" he holds out the thing. I look at the object and realize it's one of those little russian hidden doll things that have a few in them. He hands me the toy saying "well, go on" I blink a few times and open up the first part. In that is a happy looking toy, so I tilt my head a bit as Jack just says "youuu are downright jolly." Realization hit on how we're supposed to look at this 'just try to make it sound more like Santa.'

North then says "but not just jolly" with that I open up the next little thing and see a smaller him that looks more a bit weird. Like he's trying to hide behind something on him- "I am also mysterious" I tried not to laugh at that. What I did do though was still take off that to see the next smallest one inside "and fearless." 'Wonder why you'd be fearless out of it all' I think to myself before opening up the next one. It shows him with a small tear while holding a little reindeer, so I gush a bit at that since it looks so cute.

"And caring" North explained as I bite at my bottom lip, then North stood by my side saying "and at my center..." then he holds out his hand. I dump the smallest one into his hand and he holds it out to Jack, so I still look at the figurine. It looks like him looking innocent with big eyes, so I tilt my head confused at the sight of this one. Jack then says "the tiny wooden baby" "look closer" North says which made Jack pick up the figurine. "What do you see?" North whispers out again, so Jack kept looking at it while trying to think on that.

'Dude, even I don't know' I think to myself as I try to think on what that last one could be "I-... you have big eyes" Jack notes out loud. I nod saying "you look so innocent in this one" North points at Jack saying "yes! Big eyes. Very big! Because they are full.. of wonder" then he walks past us saying "that is my center." I smile at that, but we look back at him as he still walks as he looks at us a bit "it is what I was born with. Eyes that have always seen the wonder in everything!" I smile at how that sounds still.

Though North still kept talking as I look at some of the toys that decided to start moving for some reason "eyes that see the lights in trees. And magic in the air - this wonder is what I put into the world! And what I protect in children." We walked out and looked at the place a bit more, so I smile as I hug myself again. Jack looked back down at the little figurine and North got our attention as he says "it is my center. What is yours?" I look at Jack, wondering if he knew what was his.. center was out of everything.

He looks down to the side saying "I don't know..." North closed Jack's hand around the little figurine, but something outside got my attention. It looks like Tooth is out there as she flies off, but then I hear little thuds coming over here. Looking over there I see Bunny, so I narrow my eyes at him but he says "we have a problem, mate. Trouble at the Tooth Palace" my face relaxed at hearing that as I now feel a bit worried for how this could be. North got a jacket and we start to follow him "shouldn't we drop the girl off, mate?!" Bunny yells out.

I laugh a bit saying "like you're getting rid of me, ya Kangaroo - I'm here whether you like it or not right now" then I pull him back. Not to mention pull him down to meet me in the eyes as I say "may I remind you, you're kinda the reason on why I'm here?" He blinks. Then he shakes his head saying "no, not at all-" "say 'no, ma'am'" "and if I don't?" He asks me annoyed. "Do you really want to find out what I'm capable of? I may be tiny, but I am full of surprises, mate." He didn't falter, but he scoffed saying "no, ma'am" with that I let go of him and we're following again.

"I'm not going with you guys - and there's no way I'm letting me or (Y/n) go into some rickety old-" but yetis open some doors up. "Sleigh" Jack finally finished as I stay by his side and look into the shadows, the yetis grab reins. Out comes the reindeer making my jaw drop at the sight of this, I smile at how this looks. Though I look back just waiting to see the sleigh itself, there sits an amazing looking sleigh. My jaw drops as I'm still smiling, but Jack spoke up again "okay, one ride - but that's it."
