Rise of the Guardians (Jack Frost x reader)

Protecting Jack

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

I smile down at the three that walked over here before a different little girl walks up saying "and me" that one kid that yelled a bit steps up. Then he says "I-I'll try" I smile a bit more at this as I set my hand on his shoulder "that's good." We're all looking back up at Pitch though after that, though he's probably thinking we're nothing. "Still think there's no such thing as the Boogeyman!?" He asks us before dark sand comes at us. Slowly it makes street lamps go out, so I take my hand off of the kid and clench my hands tight.

Jamie was the first to speak up though "I do believe in you, I'm just not afraid of you" "and I only hate you" I say as I stay by Jamie's side. He grabs onto my hand as he made us hold our hands out to the black sand which made it look golden. My jaw drops at this as I watch it go into different ways, some of the other kids sounded happy at this too. "Yeah, Tooth Fairy!" One of the kids yell out, so I look back to see that she's able to fly around now. I smile big as I look over at North to see that he looks better too- and is able to stand on his own.

He laughs happily as he holds up both swords "stop! Get them!!" Pitch yells out which made us look forward to see the nightmare horses. They're running at us as North throws down snow globes and got himself some reinforcements. What came out was his yetis and some of the elves on flying toys, so I smile as a shiver goes up my spine. Bunny was having to run since he hasn't gotten all of his power back, so my eyes widen. I run over to try and get on the horse again, but before I could I see Bunny get pulled out by his tail.

There in all his glory is Bunny back to his normal self as he's smirking saying "g'day, mate" I watch as he kicks the horse's mouth. Then he's up in the air before throwing his boomerangs, once he lands the horses were hit with the weapons. They disappeared as I laugh happily and run up to Bunny and hug him, he chuckles at this. "Now ain't the time to be celebratin, kid" Bunny says before patting my back, I take a step back and nod once. He pats his foot on the ground before a hole opens up- there stands one of his giant stone eggs.

Another hole opens up below a kid and another stone egg comes up, the kid is sitting on it making me laugh a bit at this. They're all running towards the nightmare horses before one of the kids starts running too. Though she yelled "let's get em!!" Once she yelled that the kids were running at the horses too. Once they touched a horse it dispersed into the golden sand, so I stand by Jack's side. He smiles at me saying "you're always up for a fight, why not join in?" I think that over.

Shrugging I say "eh, I think they got it" with that he smirks saying "then how about you help me" he wraps his arm around my waist. My eyes widen before we're up in the air and on the rooftop where Pitch is and he let's go of me. I run towards the nightmare horses with a smirk before hugging one which made it disperse. Jack on the other hand used his magic to try and freeze them up, so I jump back and look up at Pitch. This made me realize I should stay by Jack's side as a just in case to avoid something like last time.

"Enough!" Pitch yells as Jack gets me on his back and starts running, though Pitch is trying to hit Jack with his black sand. Once we're facing him I jump off of Jack's back and Pitch makes more sand come at us. My eyes widen as Jack looked like he wasn't going to move in time, so I make him stand behind me. I close my eyes as a just in case the sand didn't disperse, but I wasn't hit as I hear something move in front of me. Jack then says "thanks, Tooth!" Then he softly hits my shoulder "(Y/n), don't do that."

I chuckle softly saying "if it means you won't get hurt... I'll do anything to protect you, Jack" Bunny comes up from a chimney somehow. "Ho ho.. ho!" He says and throws a boomerang at Pitch which made me laugh a bit at the joke. After a second we took down a horse and then Pitch tried to get a bit of range on us. Though North was on the neighboring roof and got rid of the horse that Pitch was on and now he's on the road. Jack wraps his arm around my waist as we get down there to try and take down Pitch.

First it was North, then it was Bunny, next was me and Jack as we hit him back a bit with a kick before we stood in a fighting stance. "It's over, Pitch" I say as we walk towards him slowly, so Jack adds "there's no place to hide." Pitch looks at all of us a bit alarmed before smirking and laughing a bit- he disappeared into the shadows again. We're all standing on-guard, looking for where he could be coming out- then I had a feeling he'd go for Jack. After everything, why wouldn't he?- I look behind Jack and see Pitch right there.

"No!" I yell out and jump in the way "(Y/n), look out!" Bunny yells as I was hit in the back of the head and felt hit with Pitch's scythe. I scream in pain as it feels like everything in me is shutting down, I fall into arms and look up to see Jack. He's looking at me shocked before looking back up, my vision is getting hazy as I lay in his hold. Pitch sounds like he's screaming as he isn't near here anymore, but Jack kneels a bit to get me to look him in the eye. He looks scared "(Y/n).. why'd you do it?.. why?!" Jack asks as I feel myself slowly going away.
