Rise of the Guardians (Jack Frost x reader)

Last Lights

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

Inside the cages is a lot of little creatures squeaking- realization hit as I see that they're Tooth's little fairies that were taken. 'This must be Pitch's lair-' "come on, let's go!" Jack says as he hung onto a cage and has it opened. They're all still chittering loudly, but I ask "what's wrong?.." we're looking at all of the cages. 'Man, I wish I could understand them' "none of you can fly?" Jack asks while looking inside the cage we're in front of. Looking back I see the globe similar to what was back at the North Pole and the lights are going out.

"Frost, take a look at this" I say and motion down, so he looks and says "the lights..." we go down and he let's go of me. We watch as light after light goes out, so my eyes widen at this "they're all going out" I say out loud. Jack stayed quiet as there was only two lights on, one probably for me here since I still believe. The other... Jack gets up on the globe to inspect the light, then he smiles saying "Jamie!" I smile at this. "Of course! He's the most child filled with wonder that I ever known of" I say as Jack gets back down.

He wraps his arm around my waist saying "come on, we have to go make sure that he'll still be believing... and probably protect him." With that we take off and I hang onto him as we head back to my hometown and everything. I smile as I see the street I've grown to know, but for now we're at his window as we look in. "So, here's what's gonna happen... if it wasn't a dream, and if you are real, then you have to prove it." There sits Jamie as he's talking to a stuffed bunny, so I nervously bite my lip as he gets real close.

Then he adds "like, right now" there was nothing but silence since... ya know, he's talking to a stuffed animal as a last resort. 'Jamie, you can't stop believing - we're the last believers' I think to myself as I hang onto Jack. Jamie kept talking though "I believed in you for a long time, okay?.. like, my whole life, in fact." Now he's picking up the bunny as he says "so you kind of owe me now.. you don't have to do much. Just a little sign so I know... anything, anything at all" I pat Jack's shoulder saying "you have to do something here, Frost."

"I knew it" Jamie says before dropping the bunny, so Jack sets me down on the windowsill and my eyes widen as Jamie looks over here. I nervously wave saying "hey... buddy" he looks at me confused "(Y/n)?.. what're you doing here?" He asks me. Climbing in I close one of the windows and leave one open for Jack as I pick up the bunny. "You can't give up on believing, Jamie... one of the greatest things about you is your childlike wonder" I say and hold the bunny out. Jamie shakes his head as he doesn't look at me, so I softly sigh a bit sadly at how this sounds.

Next thing I know is it sounds like glass is frosting up a bit, so we look over and see one of his windows is actually freezing up a bit. I smile at this as I see Jack starting to draw on the glass, he drew an egg to represent an Easter Egg. Jamie softly gasps as I chuckle softly and smile up at Jack, then I set the bunny down on the bed. "Told you to believe, didn't I?" I tease a bit as Jamie stands up and Jack softly chuckles himself. He starts to freeze up another one of the little squares on the window "he's real" Jamie says softly.

Jack is actually drawing a little bunny on that little sqaure, so I sit down on the bed next to Jamie, Jack turned his back on us. That confused me until I see he made the little bunny he drew come to life as it's now an ice bunny. My jaw dropped at that as I still smile and we watch as it hops on air, Jamie chuckles a bit at this. Jack laughs a bit too as I put some of my hair behind my ear and put my hands in the pocket of his hoodie. 'I also did say that you do good, Jack...' I think as I watch Jamie chuckling while going in circles.

He was trying to keep his eyes on the bunny before it dispersed into little specks of snow "snow?.." Jamie asks confused. "Beautiful, isn't it?.. he can really make it so magical" I softly say as I feel the little flakes hitting me. Jamie looks at me a bit confused before a flake hits his nose and he looks like realization hits him. "Jack Frost..." he whispers out, so I softly gasp as I put my hands over my mouth at him saying his name. Jack had realization hit too "did you just say..?" "Jack Frost?" Jamie asks again which made me tear up a bit.

I gently grab his hands as I say "you think.. Jack Frost is doing this too?" Jamie looks at me before he looks behind him. Jamie is now looking shocked at Jack saying "Jack Frost.." Jack was smiling as he says "that's right. B-But that's me! Jack Frost!!" I chuckle saying "that's his name!" Jack walks forward a bit towards us. "You said my name.." Jack says a bit shocked as I stand up and by his side to see Jamie's reaction. He still has his jaw dropped, so I let a bit more of realization hit in as he's actually seeing Jack right now.

"Wait.. can you hear me?" Jack asks as he holds onto my hand, so I give his hand a reassuring squeeze and Jamie nods a little. I chuckle a little as I let some happy tears fall saying "can..can you see him?" Jamie nods as he starts to smile. Jack starts to laugh a little too saying "he sees me!.. h-he sees me!!" Then he hugs me tight. With that he laughs a bit happily before doing a back flip with me in his hold, I shriek softly as I hang onto him. Jamie laughs a bit saying "you just made it snow!" "I know!" Jack says a bit happily, still a bit shocked that Jamie's seeing him.
