Remembering

No one's p.o.v

Pitch noticed that there's still all the lights on the glob "the lights... why aren't they going out?" He asks out loud while looking at them. The horse neighs a bit, Pitch is able to understand him though "they're collecting the teeth?" He asks confused. The fairies start to chitter happily at the sound of the teeth being collected even after they were captured. Pitch glares up at the cages yelling out "pipe down or I'll stuff a pillow with you!!" Then he glares at the ground. The horse makes a few noises, looking like it's talking to Pitch as it has his attention.

Though he just made a face at him and the horse ran away out of fear, then Pitch twirled his hand a bit making the horse disperse. "Fine... have your last hurrah" Pitch says to himself before making the sand form into a different figure. This figure was just meant as a bit of a statue, it turned out to be a mini-Sandman before he crushed it with one hand.

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

-the next day-

I groan as I wake up, opening my eyes I see I'm not in my pajamas for some reason 'I always change into them before sleeping. Even if I don't I just end up being in a tank top and some shorts so I won't overheat in sweats.' Sitting up I stretch a bit before wiping at my eyes, looking around I see everything still in its place. 'When did I fall asleep last night?.. all I remember was babysitting Sophie' I think before thinking about yesterday. There was also that snowball fight Jamie and his friends were having- I gasp as my eyes widen.

'Jack Frost' I think and stand up and looking around, trying to find him... but he isn't in here 'he wouldn't just randomly be in my house. He'd be outside waiting for me... right?' I think and go to my back porch to see that there's no one out here. 'I know I met Jack Frost, I had a few moments with him that felt a bit too real for it to be a dream. Not to mention North- and Tooth- and even Sandy... oh yeah, and that dumb kangaroo.' I get on the railing of my porch before pulling myself up onto my roof and going up to look for Jack.

The sun is just coming up, there's no one in sight as they're all probably sleeping, so I look around... hoping to see Jack. That's when I hear a soft thud behind me, I stop breathing for a second as I look back. There he is as he's looking at me "you still remember or do you randomly go on your roof for fun?" He teased. I just look back and say "the sun looks so pretty at this time" then I look back forward. "Uh-..." Jack cut himself off before he picked me up and says "wind, take us to the North Pole."

I shriek as I face him and wrap my arms around him a bit scared, he chuckled saying "wow, trying to pull my leg? I'm hurt." Jack's response got me to just softly chuckle, but when I went to look at him I notice how far down the ground is. My eyes widen as I hid my face in his shoulder again "are... are you scared of heights?" He asks me. I only nod as I still keep my face hidden "hey, it's okay - I won't drop you, I promise." Hard swallowing I look around and actually got to see the sunrise as we end up going somewhere else.

The sight got me to smile as we go, but I look back at Jack to see him smiling saying "good to see you still believe." "What makes ya say that?" I ask while looking at him and raising an eyebrow "we're helping Bunny." "Really?.. after everything he's said to you??" I ask and look down but realize that was a mistake and hide my face again. Jack chuckles before saying "yeah, despite him being a jerk we need kids to believe in us. Pitch has gotten fear to sink in more, he's tipped the balance" that confused me as I look at him.

"How??" I ask while furrowing my eyebrows "well.... that's a long story" "what happened while I was out?" I ask again. He sighs before looking down "he.. took out Sandman's light" that made me stop breathing again. After a second I finally ask out "w..what?" "Sandy's gone" Jack finally says while looking sad. I hug him saying "everything'll be okay" "we need people to believe in Easter, so we'll all be okay." I nod and then lean back as I notice we're at the North Pole from the temperature alone.

Jack gives me his hoodie and then we go in, we met up with the others and go back to the elevator again to go down. "Bunny is right!.. as much as it pains me to say, old friend - this time Easter is more important than Christmas." North's words got me to almost laugh as Bunny looked shocked "hey, did everyone hear that?" He asks us. I chuckle at that, but North says "we must hurry to the Warren, everyone to the sleigh!" I actually laugh at that. "Yeah!" I say happily since this will be a second time ride within that amazing sleigh.

Bunny stood in front of North saying "oh no, mate - my Warren, my rules.. buckle up" then he tapped his paw twice on the floor. Honestly I didn't know what to expect before it felt like the floor just sank down with us on it. I scream while laughing a bit, but what confused me was the fact that I somehow slid past everyone. Finally I put my arms to my sides as I be like "try to keep up, slow pokes!" "What are ya?!" Bunny yells out. I laugh at this as I end up making it to the bottom of this tunnel and land on the ground.
