All of you appear on a rooftop, and Newt quickly shoves his case into Tina's hands as he goes to dissappear, but you pull forward with hold of his case, warping not only him, but you and his case right from the woman's hands.

You were only here because of Newt, and so you weren't leaving your only guide behind. You landed close to him and followed him through a protego spell, nearly chopping your tail off in the process before going down into a subway to see a boy in the tracks with darkness swirling around him.

"It's a-alright Credence.. I'm not here to hurt you.. I-i'm not going to h-hurt you.." The boy was called Credence. You watched Newt calm the child down before the man from the ministry that took Newt's case appeared and pinned Newt down with volts of electricity from his wand.

You whimpered at the scene, watching your friend be writhing in pain just made a deep part of you furious.. You shouted out in clear disapproval, "Stop that! Don't you care who you hurt? Whether physically or mentally?" You spoke of the boy in the tracks, shaking at the scene; you had no reply, and before anything could be countered, you flicked Newt towards the boy with your tail and took full blast of the electricity in his place.

It surged through your every fibre. Magic swimming through every tense muscle. It didn't hurt, in fact, it only restricted speed; you glared at the surprised wizard in front of you, and in a feat of two spells cast in unison, you were in your first duel, sparks flying and clothes flowing back from the force.

An icy blue coursing from your wand in waves, vine green twisting around and through it against a contrasting white bolt, the two spells meeting as you held firm through the shockwave.

Immense focus. You flick your wand to and fro, then keep it steady, the colours bright as it moves, beating the bolt until you overcome the man, sending him stumbling back, and you cascading onto the tracks, in a mess of lacerations and blood on the way down.

Newt thanks you before the boy, no, Credence looks at you, what you think mostly to be at your eyes, and wings. He shivers as you both meet gazes, and then a rippling surge of images flash through your mind like dam water creating a flood; your eyes glow and glisten in yellows and reds, glistening as understanding without true knowing hits you.

Two outcasts, never truly placed where they belong.

Credence sheds a tear with you, one slipping your eyes and his. He violently trembles before you, looking up at the man who threw you at him, Glaring as flickers of dark subsume him and he began to create outbursts of magical energy, narrowly missing you and Newt because of Newt's apparating.

You noticed Tina in the corner of your eye, yelling out. "Don't fire at him, no! Credence!" Light floods your vision as you finally get up again, leaning on the wall as you see Credence burst into magical energy, rapidly burning away.

You didn't say anything, but it hurt somehow, jerking another tear from your eyes.

You adjust to what you're seeing again, and you see a crowd of Aurors, pointing their wands at 'Graves'; you didn't hear what was said, though as spells once more flew, so did you.

You took to your wings and weaved through stray spells until you reached your prey, diving down and tackling him, flicking his wand away with your tail before holding him down with the pointed end of your tail oozing as much venom on his neck as your expression entailed.

You were not happy. You looked back at Newt from atop the struggling man, and saw he wanted to do something. You firmly pulled the criminal up by the wrists as you saw his face and hair change.

A grisly grey and a displeased frown. "Grindelwald." You heard Newt and Tina say synonymously. The Aurors were afraid of getting near you, and so you sighed and tied Grindelwald's hands before pushing him forward to them.

Just as he was led off though, you heard him speak to Newt, and you. "Will we die, just a little?". You scoffed, unsure of what it meant before slowly shuffling over to Newt, and hugging him loosely. You couldn't hide your blush, nor his, but he accepted, only stopping as the 'Madam Mayor' spoke, acknowledging that wizards would be exposed now, and therefore punishment was due. As you think faster than everyone, you remember your first lesson with Newt.

"Swooping evil.. It's venom." You muttered softly, before urging Newt to hand you the creature of his hand. He obliges you, curious, as you walk outside, creating your own steps of rubblu up to the top of the buildings before climbing higher still, in flight.

Carefully, you extract just a drop of venom from Newt's creature before dropping it on the tip of your wand. What you didn't anticipate, was the surge of your magic, but at you stabled yourself, you shot clouds of dark, swollen vapour into the sky from your wand, coating them with the venom as you go.

Once you reach the subway again, you shout out to get under something before slashing your wand down with a thunderous crackle, casting downpour from the skies over all of New York.

"Y-You may now.. Re.. Pair.." you choked out such words before you finally callapse in front of Newt, and everyone, adrenaline fully gone and pain setting in enough to force a whimper from you once more.

Newt smiles at you in admiration. "You really are Incredible, y/n. Absolutely incredible." He tells you, urging you to also rest once things are calm again.
