"Now you are acquainted with practical spells, we can speak about what I have to do now. My creatures by now are spread across New York, though Mr. Kowalski has told me some information that may lead us to one of them. I have taught you now to avoid any danger it may pose. You can help me by keeping. Um. Jacob here safe." Newt smiles nervously at you, seemingly not have thought much about you doing much whilst he chases his prized creatures.
You sigh in contempt to have at least something to do with your new skills. You decide to prepare yourself for until the time occurred, which Newt said a knock on the case would tell you. You decide that the little area in the case you found would be a decent place to wait.
As you sit in there waiting though, it seems like the bland area would shift, rattle and groan windy sounds around you. Before your nerves would kick in though, the room floods with crystal colours, glowing crystals of ice begin to grow all around, and a lingering freezing mist plumes from around you into the room, leaving it looking like a cavernous winter spectacle.
Unfortunately, this leaves you a little stunned, allowing for you to trip and fall at a rumble throughout the case. That must be the knock.
Getting up, you take your wand and slip it into the band of your hat before sprinting off towards the centre ladder, long coat billowing behind, fractals of snow still latched on as you go.
As you eventually climb up, you slip from the case in an icy state, not uncomfortable with the temperature, but out of breath from the rush. "Oh.. There you are. She's here, in that park. An Erumpent. It's hide is impermeable by most spells, and do try not to be skewered; anything injected by it's horn has a mild tendency to explode."
Newt explained to you two somewhat casually. He then approached the large female creature with a bottle of liquid after making sure Jacob was clad in leather, and you prepared. He smeared the stuff on his hands before passing it to Jacob to hold, claiming it was the creature's desired mating musk. Jacob grimaced at the bottle as you watched Newt do some sort of funny motion towards the beast with a series of grunts.
Just as Newt was about to recapture the Erumpent, Jacob fumbled the bottle of scent all over himself, and you, due to an escaped monkey that passed. You didn't realise that you were waving the scent around whilst trying to get it off, only realising from the loud call behind you and Jacob's fearful expression.
Thinking fast on your feet, you and Jacob run out of the Zoo, heading towards the lake as the beast lingered close behind; it tried to catch Jacob, but you quickly pushed him forward and got slightly hit by the creature instead, not able to catch yourself in time as you hit the frozen lake and let out a small whimper of pain that grows louder as you feel the pain swell.
Jacob got himself stuck up a tree which then got blown up by an explosion, landing him down before he runs towards you, trying to escape.
Just before he is caught though, you press your hands onto the freezing lake's ice, in a croutch as magic swirls your wrists and stabs into the ice, raising a large icy barrier between Jacob and the creature, giving Newt enough time to get behind the Erumpent and trap it once more into the case.
With that done, you let out a sharp breath, and let your arms callapse, bringing the rest of your body onto the cold ice. The comforting, cold ice. You hear murmurs, but exhaustion takes you first.
