Newt told you what to do, and with your new prowess in waving around magical sticks, you flick your wand and say Protego, watching as a blue veil of light plumes forward from your wand in a shield, to which Newt then tells you to hold it up.

He sends a red light crackling towards you that melds with your shield in a clash before fizzing out, pushing you back slightly, enough to land you on your tailbone in a thud.

"a-are you quite alright? I-I didn't mean to k-knock you down.." Newt helps you up and tells you what to do next: "Try to cast the disarming charm.. Expelliarmus."

You nod before carefully aiming and uttering the encantation, sending a dart of red light from your wand that swirls briefly around Newt's wand before sending it flying from his hand, making him smile in aprovement before picking it up and walking over to you.

"The final spell is much more difficult, and has a profound barrier effect on the targeted area. It is called Protego Maxima." Newt demonstrates by saying the encantation and forming a crackling wall of blue impassable membranous magic. He then looks to you to attempt the same.

You prepare your wand nervously now, and whisper the words "Protego Maxima." dark blue colours then fly from the tip of your wand, forming a quick wall equal to Newt's, crackling with magical energy too, though a distinct change is the vine-like green light that snakes around the wall, and the icy crystals that gather around the edges.

"I-it seems like you have a-an affinity for the magical.." Newt tells you, confident in such a judgement only to jump slightly at the awestruck Jacob that interjects with "All this magic stuff is amazing! And, and that hybrid lady/guy is amazing too!" you can't help a snicker that slips from your mouth at the man's antics before you reflect on what just happened.

YOU CAN USE MAGIC NOW!
