Lexa POV:

After me and rengoku finished hugging I went on a drive to the grocery store. To get some groceries and...to get some comfort food.

"Man i'm so weak when it comes to my daddy issues."

I said as I pulled into the parking lot.

I went into the store and grabbed all the groceries I needed and then went into different isle grabbing comfort food, as well as more treats for L.

After that I stopped at a Starbucks. It was only me there and I ordered my usual venti pink drink with no strawberries.

Then I sat at a table with my head down

"Life got you down bestie?"

I looked up to see my best friend Madelyn

"*gasp* Madelyn!? How did you know I was here?"

She giggled

"I didn't, but I saw your car in the parking lot."

You smiled

"So what's got you down?"

{ 10 minutes later}

"Hey...I know your dad is a sensitive topic for you...but he sucks, so forget him. You have me, some other friends, and your family. I mean from what you told me you've had a pretty good life without him. You shouldn't let him get in the way of your happiness."

I smiled and nodded.

"I know it just...it seems like everytime is close to forgetting him he just appears. I also can forgive him for the things he's done to me, cause I don't care. It's just what he's done to my mother and my sister, they are so important to me! I swear sometimes I just want to sock him in the face."

I said clenching my fist, and imaging punching my trash dad in the face.

"Lexa. Calm down. Take a deep breath bestie."

I took a deep breath as she said.

"Better?"

"Better."

Then I realized I had ice cream in the car

"Oh my gosh! Sorry bestie but I just remembered I have ice cream in my car!"

"Oh well you better get going. Chat with ya later, k?"

"You got it!"

I then ran out with my drink and started speeding home.

"Rengoku. You seriously need to chill. Lexa will be fine, we all get like that sometimes."

Dabi told rengoku as he was pacing the room

"I just can't help but feel bad for her."

Rengoku said looking at floor

"Dads are overrated anyways."

Dabi said

"Preach!"

Hawks yelled

"You two didn't have good fathers either?"

"Are you kidding!"

Hawks yelled at rengoku

"My father was awful! He treated me like a caged bird!"

Then dabi spoke up

"And my dad rejected me in the past. To him I was simply a tool just to surpass his enemy but even I wasn't enough! I was never enough for him!"

Some blood started going down from his face

"Dabi!"

Rengoku yelled and lexa had just came in. She saw dabi, with blood coming out of his stitches. She immediately ditched the groceries grabbing tissues from her purse, then wiping the blood from his face.

"What happened?"

She then noticed the vibe in the room. It was negative and hateful but mostly sad

"..."

"What happened while I was gone?"

None of them spoke

Lexa sighed

"Okay you guys don't have to tell me."

Lexa then put the ice cream in the freezer, luckily it wasn't too melted.

"I got a lot of treats from the store, you guys feel like brownies?"

They all were sitting on the couch eating brownies with ice cream on top, watching Harry Potter.

L came down and joined as well. Lexa sat between dabi and hawks so they wouldn't get into a fight; ruining the mood.

Everbody in that room felt better afterwards. Rengoku was energetic and happy. Hawks had a smile on his face. Dabi didn't look as mad as before. L enjoyed the movie. So did lexa. All of them forgot about their terrible fathers.

"Hey princess."

Dabi said smirking knowing that he's already made lexa irritated because she hates the nickname

"Yes dabi?"

She said glaring at him with a smile

"Can we go on that trip with you?"

"That's not a very good idea."

"Think about this. Do you really think we should be left alone. By ourselves, without you to make sure we don't do something stupid?"

"It sounds like your going to do something."

His smirk turned more mischievous.

Lexa had a neutral face

"You think your funny?"

"I think I'm a adorable."

".........I'll start making reservations. You all better start packing."

Lexa said in defeat. Hawks and rengoku looked very excited. Dabi smiled in victory. L didn't have much of a reaction but accepted.

'I'm going to regret this.'
