Lexa POV
I woke up and I saw the date, Mother's Day. I smiled thinking of my mom. I wanted go see her but I had to many responsibilities, so I sent her a generous amount of money and a small present telling her to treat herself.
I stretch ready to head downstairs. When the door open and catnap softly made me lay back down.
"No, you don't get up today."
Rachel came in right behind him with tray of food
"Happy Mother's Day. Here you go."
It was a plate with eggs, turkey bacon, toast and a pancake. With a coffee just how I make it.
"Aww, you two didn't have to do this for me."
They both nodded
"We know but you're the best mom ever!"
Catnap said rubbing his head against me and then laying down next to my bed. Then Rachel got into bed next to me wrapping her arms around me.
"Mhm, you make us very happy and do so much for us. We just want to express our love and appreciation."
My heart just exploded.
"Well thank you very much."
I ate the breakfast they made, it was delicious.
For the rest of the day the only let me get up to go to the bathroom or if I desperately needed to stretch. They also made it their personal mission to make sure no one bothered me with anything. If tired to say it was fine catnap would block the door with his body or Rachel would lay on top of me not letting me move.

Near the end of the day they brought me a red velvet cake slice from the Cheesecake Factory.
"This is my favorite! Wait how did you two get this."
Rachel held up the phone I got her
"DoorDash."
I smiled. Then ate it happily.
"Did we do good? Did you have a nice Mother's Day?"
They looked at me with hopeful expressions
I kissed both their heads.
"Best Mother's Day ever."
They both smiled. The day ended with Rachel curled up next to me asleep and catnap laying nearby. I feel asleep peaceful and with a smile.
