Rachel was informed of where she is and what's happening. First thing she did when she arrived was ask Zack to kill her because she saw they were out of the building. He couldn't cause one, no would let him. Rengoku restrained him easily. two, it could've disrupt their timeline. L explained at the chance they return where they came from they will return right back where they left.
"Do you honestly think he could make it out without you?"
Rachel thought about it and shook her head
"No. I don't think he could make it out without me."
L nodded
"So until then no dying."
"Okay"
Rachel agreed.

"So she's the one in charge?"
Rachel said looking at a photo on Mitsuri's phone who nodded enthusiastically while saying a small "mhm!"
"She looks like she's very nice."
Rachel said and then mitsuri quickly started talking excited
"Yeah! Lexa is super nice! She's a bit shy but nice and is rather what's that word she used again...intra...introva...ontray?"
"Introverted?"
"Yeah! That, but once she gets used to you she'll be more open to talk to you. Though she does seem to have a soft spot for kids so she'll probably like you quickly!"
Rachel nodded. Just then catnap came down with yarnaby following behind. Rachel had seen them but hadn't gotten the chance to talk to them.
"Kitty."
Rachel said and mitsuri heard
"Catnap is nice and yarnaby is too. Catnap is actually lexa's adopted son."
Rachel then look straight at him and said
"Adopted...lexa wanted him?"
Mitsuri then thought about
"Well yes and no. Originally catnap started calling her his savior but Lexa didn't like it, she said to just treat her like a friend or family. So he started calling her mom. It's honestly so adorable!"
That made Rachel think
'This isn't a perfect family it's loud, chaotic, everyone is so different and even a bit mean to each other sometimes. But mostly everyone is smiling, everyone's happy, no one is fighting for too long, no one is hitting each other, I don't feel alone, they are making me feel welcomed. It's warm and perfect in its own way
She then stared at catnap who was playing with yarnaby
'I want to be apart of it.'
Rachel tugged on Mitsuri's sleeve
"...can I be her daughter?"
"Huh?"
Mitsuri answered at the sudden question.
