Today was finally Saturday and Jaylen texts me telling me to get ready and wear something simple. I put on some black leggings with a oversized graphic tee and black crocs. I had no idea to where we were going so I really just followed instructions and put on something simple and cute. He arrives in 20 minutes and soon as I walk to to car I hear him playing Babyface Ray and the aroma of weed fills the car. He greets me with a kiss and drives off. We pull up at the mall and he gets out the car so I get the perfect veiw of his outfit. He definitely out dressed me and it was super embarrassing ngl. He wore a black Kenzo shirt with light blue Amiri jeans and Balenciaga Track Runners. He smelt sooo good too so I walk closer towards him and we lock arms walking into the mall together. I ask him why he told me to wear something simple if he was gonna go all out. He looked at me and laughed and said "this is simple". Once again I look down in embarrassment trying not to show that I am. He noticed and says " you look good tho" which made me blush a little. I didnt know we were going to the mall so I didn't bring my card and I had about $200 in cash on me so I wasnt looking foward to buying to many things. The first store we walk into was Gucci. I only window shopped and looked around because I had no intentions of buying anything out of there. I spot him on the other side of the store with about 3 shirts in his hand. He walks up to me and ask if I spot anything I like. This definitely put me on the spot so I pick up the cheapest thing close to me and say yeah this. We head to the register and he takes the Socks I had picked up and pays for them with his things. I look at him in confusion because i started to think he knows I didnt come with money. I brush that off and we head into a few more stores. After he gets done shopping we go to the food court and get chick fil la. He asks me why haven't I picked anything out and to avoid saying I didnt bring my card I say "nothings really caught my eye" he finishes his drink and asks what stores we should go in next. We walk into Forever 21 and I pick up about 2 pairs of jeans and 3 tops. Since im a little thicker none of the jeans in there really fitted how I wanted them to so I decided to just get the tops I picked out. I walk towards Jaylen seeing him picking up random stuff. I tell him im ready and we head to the register. I take out my money but before I paid the man says "Oh this young man had paid for you while you were trying on those jeans" I say thank you as bags my shirts up. I started to get confused on how he paid before hand but I just shook off the thought. We hit a few more stores and I still have $200 in my wallet. I figured out it would be nice to buy him something so I say im going to the bathroom. I walk into the Burberry store and find some swim trunks and payed some with Klarna. I go back to where we walked in and seen Jaylen waiting for me there. I hand him the bag and kiss him as we walked out the store locking arms with each other. We found his car and I was so tired and ready to go to sleep. I doze off in the car and we're at my house already. He helps me with my bags and kisses me before I walk into the house. I walk to my room and fall asleep instantly.

8:56 pm

I finally woke up and decided to clean my bathroom that was connected to my bedroom. After I finish I took a shower, Fixed my lace, and ate dinner. It was 9:45 by time I was done doing everything so I called Nijah but she was with her man so I hung up. I turned on a movie and start scrolling on ig. I click a couple stories and then I click Jaylens story. He was all boo'd up with a girl kissing on her n all. I really didnt have a reaction because that's not my nigga. I closed ig smoked atleast 5 woods so I could forget about that whole thing. At that point I was high asl so I went to go make some leftovers. Once I got back to my room i seen Jaylen calling. I declined it and he called 2 more times so I decided to pick up. I answer very nonchalantly because I really didnt wanna talk to him. He peeps that im being dry and asks me wassup. I didnt wanna make it seem like i was pressed about him being all up on another girl but I did wanna know who she was. I asked him who was that on his story and it gets quiet. He says "nobody just an old friend" I knew he was with somebody because i heard laughing in the background. I instantly hung up the phone and blocked him on everything. I end up falling asleep so i wouldnt have to deal with the overthinking.

The next day I woke up to get ready for work. I work at Target just to get a little money in so I could save up for my car. Its around 9 am and im waiting on my lyft to arrive at my house. I finally make it to work 20 minutes early so I decided to get a little nap in in the break room before my shift starts. Its now around 4 pm and I see the girl Jaylen was with last night. I was praying she didnt come to check out at the register i was at but just my luck she did. She was super short and skinny with her hair in box braids. I wasnt being rude or nothing to her but it was so awkward like she knew who I was. We were the exact opposite of each other im tall brownskin and more on the thick side and shes short skinny with lots of tattoos and darkskin. Shes super pretty dont get me wrong and that's exactly why I think Jaylens gonna actually end up with her. I ask her if she found everything okay while shopping and she replies with a simple eh. I was so embarrassed so I just kept bagging up her little outfits. She finally walked away but I peeped Jaylen at the exit door and we make eye contact. He sees me and walks away. I know I blocked him and made it clear I want no association with him but the thought of them coming to my job together crushed me. He knows I work here I believe thats why he sent her in alone. My whole day was ruined so when I got home I decided to have the plug pull up.
