Bad for You (Billy x OC)

The Next Few Days

"What the fuck?" 

Billy and I both snapped our heads in the direction of my sister. My little sister who had just walked in on Billy and I making out. I scrambled to get up and away from Billy, and before I could say anything my sister practically shrieked, "You're actually acting like a teenager?! FInally!" I stared at her in disbelief as she stopped to look at Billy, "Yknow I thought she would die a virgin, but now that I'm getting a good look at you, I'm not so sure." Billy smiled and looked over at me, my face getting hot. 

"OKAY." I loudly interrupt before my sister can say anything else, "You should probably head home now." I start to pull him up and off the couch.  "No no, please he can stay, I'll even make myself scarce so you two can finish up," Amelia grins at the two of us, adding to my humiliation. Billy chuckles, "Well I'm glad your sister seems to like me." I shake my head and rush him out of the house, handing him his keys and say, "thank you for coming over, we can work on the assignment another time."

 "yeah you can work on your 'assignment' anytime, just leave a sock on the door next time" Amelia shouts, making Billy laugh again. My eyes widen, "Okay see you tomorrow!" I yell and close the door. I catch my breath and turn to my sister who can't help but grin. "you're the worst!" I say as I leave and hide in my room.

I wake up and think back to last night and I smile. I kissed Billy. Billy kissed me. Billy and I kissed. I get out of bed, smile still stuck to my face and get dressed. When Amelia and I get to school Billy is already there waiting by his car. Amelia makes a kissing face at the two of us but stops when I raise one of my books, ready to throw it at her. She runs off to join her group of friends and I look back over to Billy. He smiled and motioned to my sister and her friends, "So you let your sister hang with the freaks?" I shrug, "she's a junior, she does what she wants, but at least she's not hanging around anyone who causes trouble." He nods as though he understands, and we walk into school. 

When we make it inside he asks, "So what do you know about Wheeler's little brother and his friends?" I give him a confused look and ask him, "why do you ask?" Billy looks at me and then back down the hall before explaining, "I've seen a few of them around Max, and even though she's a little shit, I still wanna make sure she's not hanging around with the wrong crowd." I raise my eyebrow but start to tell him what I know, "well, they're pretty normal I guess. They mostly ride their bikes and hangout and Nancy's house. Last year was really weird since one of them went missing." Billy stops us in the hall. "Missing? Like actually missing?" he asks.

I explain to him everything that happened last year and by then end of the story he's quiet for a moment then says, "so one of them went missing, then they thought he died, then he wasn't dead. His mom went crazy but now she seems fine? And somehow all of the kids were involved?" I looked at him realizing the story was kind of bizarre, "Well yeah, but everyone is fine now," I tell him, trying to make sure he isn't worried. I mean, stuff like that never happens here so it couldn't possibly happen again right? Billy shakes his head, "yeah I don't think she should hang around them, she gets into enough shit on her own." He puts his arm around me and he says "Let me walk you to class and we'll meet up later." I nod and he gives me a soft kiss on my head and leaves for class.

After English class Billy and I are walking out to our cars, my sister waiting for us. When she sees us she perks up and comes rushing over, "Hey Julie, can I borrow the car tonight. My friends are playing tonight and I wanted to hangout with them." Since Billy and I have been hanging out more she's been quick to take any opportunity to borrow the car to go out lately. "I can take you home if you want," Billy offers. I look at the both of them, Billy smiling at the chance to spend time with me, Amelia practically jumping with excitement. "Fine, but you can't stay out all night." I say, handing my sister the keys. She lets out a squeel, "Deal I'll have it back by tonight." She rushes off before I can try to ask her how late she's going to be. I walk over to Billy's car, ready to put my things inside. Billy is about to get in when I ask, "shouldn't we wait for Max?"  He looks over to the middle school, most of the kids have already left on their bikes or gotten on the bus. "She's late, so she can skate home," Billy says as he turns the key. "Isn't that a little harsh?" I ask him. He shrugs and says, "if she doesn't like skating home, she won't be late next time." 

As we're driving through the town Billy glances over at the sign at the movie theater. "Hey Julia, do you wanna catch a movie?" Billy asks as he starts to pull into a parking space and I nod my head. I enjoyed seeing this side of Billy, the sweet side of him.

Billy and I start to spend more time together, we pass notes in english class, go on dates, spend time together when my dad isn't home. We make out. A lot. Things are going really well. 

I haven't seen Nancy as much since she called and told me if her parents ask she's staying with me. Jonathan has been gone too, but he said Will's been sick so he might've just caught whatever he has. Which only leaves Steve. Its been a while since their fight so Steve and I have been talking about how he wants to makeup with Nancy. 

"I mean, what should I do? She hasn't talked to me since the fight but I thought we'd be better by now." Steve says to me, I give him a shrug, "I think she just wants some space, she obviously likes you, but with Barb still missing I bet things have been weird." I explain. I admit, I wasn't close to Barb like Nancy was, but even I thought it was weird how she just ran away. Steve lets out a sigh and puts his head in his hands. "I miss her," he says in a low voice. I place my hand on his back and try to comfort him. He sits up quickly and exclaims, "That's it I'm gonna talk to her. I'm gonna go to her house and we're gonna talk and we'll makeup and its gonna be okay again!" I watch as he heads down the hall and right out of the school.
