Its after school and I'm just now getting home. Amelia's friends were already waiting for her when we pulled in, I turn off the car and stop her before she can jump out. "Hey big sister moment," I say as she turns too look back at me, eager to meet her friends, "I know, I'll be back in time for dinner." She tries to leave again but I put my hand on her arm, making her pause before I say, "that's not it." She stares, impatiently waiting for me to continue, "You've been spending a lot of time with those guys. One of them is a senior in my class-" "Eddie?" My sister cuts me off, "yeah what about it?" She asks defensively. I look at her for a moment and take a breath. Its awkward but I have to ask, "are you having sex?" She puts her hands on her head and lets out a groan, "are we really going to talk about this?" She asks in horror and I nod, "Yeah we are, you don't have any other responsible adults to talk to you about the dangers of unprotected-" "Stop!" She waves her hands. "No one is having unprotected anything! God!" her face red, "its not even like that, besides Eddie has a girlfriend, and the other guys? They're just my friends." I give her a look, she's clearly embarrased and ready for the conversation to be over, I do too but I'm glad to know she isn't doing anything reckless. "Can I go now?" She asks, opening the door to get out of the car. I nod and she starts to grab her things. My sister looks back at me before running off, "by the way, don't you think you should be having sex before you try to talk about it like an expert?" My eyes widen and she lets out a giggle and runs off.
I go inside and get changed, Billy is coming over to study. I hear a knock at the door and let him in. His eyes light up when he sees me, "well you look nice, I can't possibly work with a distraction like you sitting next to me." I smile and let him in. We quickly get to work but I have trouble focusing with him looking at me. "We're supposed to be working." I tell him, pretending to sound annoyed. I hear him chuckle and he leans close to whisper in my ear, "I can't help it, I keep thinking of other things we could be doing." My face gets warm. I look back at him ready to give a smart remark but I can't get a word out before I feel his hand on my face pulling me in for a kiss.
I pull back, "Billy we need to-" "we can do it later," He shushes me and pulls me back into him. I want to argue, but I drop my pen and melt into his lips instead. I reach my hand up and run my fingers through his blonde curls and he slowly wraps his hand around my waist. He lifts me up and I let out a small squeal when he pulls me into his lap. I stradle his waist and I smile through the kiss puting my hands just under his jaw. When I let go of his face, he starts to kiss down my jawline and to my neck. He finds my sweet spot and I let out a low moan. His hands grip my hips tightly, and I can feel him getting harder. I pull back, my face is red and I let out a nervous giggle. Billy looks down and catches his breath, when he looks back up at me he smilles gently, "don't worry, we can take things slow." I smile and nod my head, "yeah I know," I lean down and kiss him again before getting off of him. We straighten our clothes back out and I go to grab us two glasses of water. When I come back into the room Billy is already working. I smile and join him back on the couch.

A few days have passed and Billy and I have spent almost every moment with each other. While we pack up our things after Mr. Mathews' class, Billy nudges me to get my attention, "Are you free later?" He asks. "Yeah did you want to come over?" He puts an arm around me as we walk outside, "I have to watch Maxine, but I thought you could come and keep me company," Billy says and he leans into me. I grin expressing my excitement, "I'll take that as a yes," Billy says. Just before Max rides up to us Billy explains, "I'll pick you up after in an hour." Max gets into the car and we part ways.

I'm home alone again, waiting for Billy to come over. He said he'd pick up max from the arcade and meet me after. I hear a knock at the door and open it to see Billy waiting for me and we walk back to his car. He tells Max to move to the back, he seems annoyed.
When we finally park, Max runs right inside and into her room leaving Billy and I alone. "Hey, whats wrong?" I ask a noticably upset Billy. He falls onto the couch with a groan and sighs, "Caught max hangin around that kid again." I know Billy can be pretty judgemental about the kids, but I try and get him to relax, "Its the only arcade in a small town, they probably just ran into each other," I say. He lets out another sigh. "Even if they were hanging out, its a public place, its really not that big of a deal," I try again. He shakes his head, signalling that just wants to drop it so we do. "Alright," I say straightening up, "what do you want to do while we wait for your parents to get home?" Billy and I have been out a few times but its nice when we get to stay in and spend time together. Billy has his moments where he seems mean, but he's really been sweet. At least around me. He know's about my dad and his drinking problem, and we've talked about why his mom left. "There's not a lot to do here unless you want to watch a movie." He says. I know Billy doesn't like being in a town as small as Hawkins, I feel the same way as him. "I'll pop the popcorn," I smile at him.
He grins and just before he can kiss me the door bell rings. "Max are you gonna get that?" Billy shouts. Max answers the door but quickly goes outside and closes the door. I head into the kitchen to grab drinks for us and when I come back Billy and Max are in the living room. I came back in just as Max said that mormans had shown up on the door step, and then she left to go to her room. Billy sighed and checked outside, but no one was there. He shrugged it off and walked back to me. "Max usually hides out in her room, but she has a habit of coming in unannounced." He tells me, "do you want to hangout in my room?" I nod my head and let him lead the way.
