(Present time)
"I was right. Your second challenge turned out to be even harder than the first one," Angel mumbles, trying to get up from my lap and return to his chair. "You have one more question left. Please, choose an easier one, if you don't want me to make a complete fool of myself, or worse, pass out."
I instantly grip his ass and press him closer, making him straddle my thigs. We both gasp at the delightful way our erections rub against each other. Despite the red swirls on his cheeks, he can't resist to sway his hips until my whole length is comfortably nested between his butt cheeks. I have absolutely nothing against it and can't even imagine a better way to sit.
"Where do you think you're going?" I smirk. "A good boy like you should have already figured out that his place is right here, sitting on his boyfriend's big, hard cock."
"You never hold back from saying whatever comes to your mind, do you?" He blushes more. "Have you always been like this?"
"No, not really," I shake my head. "I was quite shy as a child. No one could make me utter a word in front of a stranger."
"You must have been the most adorable boy growing up," Angel smiles, tracing my cheek with his fingertips. "You are so handsome, Ryo... and kind. How do you know exactly what to do every time I freak out? Why would you even bother to deal with it?"
"Hey, still my turn, remember?" I fake a frown. "Answer my last question and then you can ask me whatever you want. Thank you for the compliment, but I doubt I was as cute as you imagine. Didn't you hear what I said? I was so close-mouthed that my parents constantly scolded me for appearing as rude and unruly. I would often turn around and run away when someone approached me. Dad called me a hedgehog."
"Oh!" Angel unexpectedly stills and bites his bottom lip, gazing at me thoughtfully, instead of laughing at my ridiculous nick name. His hazel eyes are studying carefully every feature of my puzzled face. The gold flecks in his irises become more prominent by the vivid emotions, passing through them. He seems startled and for some reason in disbelief, opening his mouth and then closing it, scratching his nape and fluttering his eyelashes, as if convincing himself of the absurdity of what he is about to say.
"What is your third question?" he finally mutters, lowering his head. There was something important he wanted to tell me, but apparently lacked enough courage. Did he remember something else about that incident he was talking about? Was it something I said? Did I trigger a memory? I am dying to demand answers to all these burning questions, but decide against it. He is too vulnerable. We'll move at his pace. It's better to focus on the future now and leave the past for later.
"Tell me your biggest dream," I only ask.
"What do people usually want most?" Angel sighs sadly, curling around his finger one of the long locks, framing my face. "The one thing they can't have, of course. It's traveling for me. I've got the money and the time, but still it is practically impossible. I dream of a round-the-world trip, to see in person all the wonderful places I've read so much about. I graduated The University of Zurich, but have never been to Switzerland. My biggest customer is a company, based in Cape Town, but I've never seen South Africa either. I've never even set foot in Italy, which is only a two-hour flight away, although I know all about most of it's cities' history, architecture and traditional food. I often use the satellite, street view and the best travel sites to explore different places... I know it sounds pathetic... Don't pity me... "
"Your are not pathetic," I hurry to interrupt him, gently kissing the corner of his mouth. When exactly did I develop a complete intolerance to seeing this man sad? That detached, melancholic look, fogging the gold in his eyes, is physically hurting me. I make him shift his attention back on me by nibbling lightly on his lip. "Your dream is beautiful. I used to have the same one when I was younger."
"The difference is that you actually achieved it," Angel smiles. "There is a small villa on the island of Corfu, stone built, surrounded by palm trees and olive orchards, right on the beach... I saw it during one of my virtual journeys... Greece is closer than Italy, you know...no more than a few hours car drive... umm... I don't even have a driving license..."
"I'll show you the world." I squeeze him closer and breathe out the promise, without giving it a second thought. I truly, sincerely mean it. Nothing can stop me from wiping away all the sadness from my angel's face. I can feel his heart beating faster. His embrace tightens as he leans on me, kissing my ear. I know he doubts it. Angel doesn't believe my words, but appreciates me saying them. His gratitude flows in warm waves through his tender touches. I don't really care if he believes it or not. It's more important that I will do it anyway, as incredible as it might seem to him now.
I never give up. Never! This is how I survive, by being stubbornly, obsessively persisstent.
My fingers slowly run through his soft hair. I firmly repeat, "Watashi wa anata ni sekai o ataemasu (I will give you the world)."
"Arigatō, sutekina Hari-nezumi (Thank you, lovely Hedgehog)!" Angel giggles. "I know you will."
