I said I was going to upload friday but I couldn't. A lot of stuff has been happening. First, my cousins broke 2 of my favorite cups in just 3 days. R.I.P milkshake cup :'(  A moment of silent please, they broke my milkshake cup.... :(

It kind off sucks having cousins live with you and go to the same school as you.

Also, my dad uses the computer all day to see his show that he already saw! And I got the new book of City of Fallen Angels! I was so happy when I got it that I spent 4 days reading it! :D My conferences were Thursday! I was a little scared about what the teachers were going to say about me. Luckily they didn't say anything bad. Phew! I'm talking to much, aren't I? Okay, I'm shutting up now.

This chapter is short, but hey, at least I uploaded something.

Here is chapter 26. Enjoy!:D

"Are we there yet?" I asked John. "We've been driving for an hour."

John glanced at me from the road and smiled. "No, we are not there yet," he said in his deep sexy voice. He turned back to the road and put the radio on. The song E.T by Katy Perry was playing.

I almost laughed when I heard the song. This really does explain what I feel for John. John is not exactly human, but he's not an alien either. Or at least I hope he isn't...

"So, where is this beach at?" I asked him.

"It's a pretty beach, you're going to love it."

I laughed a little. When he said the word 'pretty beach' it sounded funny. I don't know why, but it did.

"What?" asked John, looking at me with confused eyes.

I shook my head. "Nothing."

He nodded but didn't say anything. After five minutes I figured we weren't going to be there any time soon. I leaned my head against John's shoulder and fell asleep.

"Selene, wake up. We're here." Someone whispered in ear.

I groaned and opened my eyes slowly. I regretted opening them as soon as the sun's light hit me in the eyes. I squinted and put on my sunglasses. I got out of the jeep, that we borrowed from one of the pack members, and looked around.

It was a pretty beach like John said. Nobody was here, even though it was a beautiful place. This placed seemed to be hidden by rocks and trees. The sand looked like it had been hardly stepped on. There was small caves inside the rocks.

"Do you like it?" asked John.

"Love it!" I grinned at him. "Race you to the water?"

He shook his head. "I don't want you to be disappointed when I beat you."

I put my hand on my hip and gave him a you-must-be-crazy-if-you-think-you-can-beat-me look. He smirked and took of his shirt. I tried really hard not to look at his well sculpted chest. I looked at the small waves instead. I suddenly had the urge to go in the water and swim.

"Fine, I'll race you."

I looked back at John and smiled. "At the count of three."

"I'll give you a head start," he said.

"I don't need it."

"1..."

"2..."

"3!"
