The banner thing was fast. I got a banner a couple of minutes later. I was expecting one the next day but ok haha.

I know I said I was going to upload as soon as I got the banner but I was busy. Firstly it was my little cousin's birthday and we went to his ranch. It was so much fun! I got to ride a horse :D I love horses.

My cousins that were living with me went back to california. It was sad 'cause we got close during the few months, and since I live in Oregon I'll only see them twice a year :( But during the time they were here was fun even though they annoyed and teased me way too much.

I'll miss our fun moments. Having cousins live with you is so much fun, but also a recipe for disaster.

Banner on the side is made by samanthajo22 :D Once again, thank you for the banner. For making such an awesome banner this chapter is dedicated to you.

She was the first one to make me one. I haven't forgotten the others though. They'll be in the next chapter.

Thank you to everyone that has done me one! I really appreciate it :D

I just noticed I'm talking too much. I'll stop now.

Enjoy chapter 39!

Chapter 39

It felt like I was in a scary movie as the door was creaking open. The suspense music that I was playing in my head made it even scarier. It’s not like there’s some kind of demon in here. At least I don’t think there is. I slapped myself mentally for my stupidity. Only I could think of such things when we’re in a situation like this.

The door opened all the way increasing the creaking noise. The room was dark with not a single light on. I stepped in with the cart in front of me and John behind me. As soon as I made two steps the lights turned on. It was so fast that I had to close my eyes for a second. I opened my eyes, squinting a little at the brightness in the big room.

The room was full of stuff. There was a chair in the corner with straps and a little blood on it. I shivered once I saw the blood was recent. Silver chains hanged from the opposite side of the room. Multiple tables with torture tools were spread around the room. The walls and the tile floor were both black. The ceiling was covered in led lighting. That explains why it’s so bright.

My eyes bulged and my jaw hit the floor when I saw what was in front of me. How could I not see it before? Allen was hanging from his arms three feet in the air. Blood was running from his temples down to his neck. He had been stripped down from his sweater and was only wearing a white shirt. Silver chains wrapped painfully around his bloody wrist keeping him up. I felt my eyes water at the sight. Using my werewolf speed I ran to him.

“Allen,” I cried while shaking him. He groaned in response and opened his eyes a little.

“Selene,” he whispered before he closed his eyes completely. His head fell forward making me panic.

“Allen!”

“Calm down,” John soothed from behind me. “He’s just weak, not dead. If we get those off he’ll be okay.”

I nodded not taking my eyes off my brother. From the corner of my eye I saw John step forward and reach up to the silver chains. He gripped the chain and pulled down, bringing Allen down a little. He pulled again but this time it didn’t move. It’s not like he could break the chains, silver is indestructible to werewolves.
