Chapter 14

So people have been commenting that John's picture doesn't show. Here it is again!

"That one looks brighter," I said, pointing to a star. I had my head layed on John's chest, while his arms were around me. We were lying down on the picnic blanket watching the stars. "The brightest is the moon."

"But the moon isn't a star," John said.

"But its bright," I pointed out.

"Yeah."

We layed in silence for a couple of minutes. It was a comfortable kind of silence. It felt like this was one of those when it feels like it's just you and him. I smiled.

"The moon is ours now," said John, breaking the silence.

"What?"

"The moon will be ours now. Every time I look at the moon, I'll think of you."

"And every time I look at it, I'll think of you," I said back to him.

I looked up at him and saw him smile. He looked so handsome under the moonlight. I couldn't help but kiss him. We kissed for a couple of minutes until he pulled away.

"As much as I like this, I don't want to get you in trouble. Time to go Selene," said John sadly.

I pouted, "Five more minutes?"

He looked like he wanted to say yes really badly, in the end he shook his head. "I can't let Allen get mad at you again."

I nodded. "You're right."

He picked up the blanket and folded it. I watched as he put it in the basket.

"Ready?" he held his hand out for me to take.

 I put my hand in his and smiled, "Ready."

We walked back to the house. Once we were at the edge of the woods, John turned to me.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" he asked hopefully.

I nodded. "I'll go tomorrow after school."

"I'll pick you up."

He kissed me once more, before running back to the woods. I stared longingly at his back, until I couldn't see him. I sighed sadly and jumped back into my window.

Luckily Allen hadn't noticed that I was gone. I looked at the clock and saw it was already 9. I should get to bed. I quickly changed into my short shorts, and tank top. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep.

I woke up to something cold and wet. I quickly opened my eyes, and sat up. I looked around the room and saw David laughing. He had a bucket of water in his hand.

"DAVID!" I growled.

He stopped laughing and ran out the door. I got out of bed and went after him. He was already going down the stairs. I used my werewolf speed and lunged at him.

"Ah!" David yelled.

We both went rolling down the stairs, screaming curses at each other. David landed on the floor with me on top of him. I was about to yell at him, when a voice came from the kitchen.

"CAN THERE BE ANY PEACE IN THIS HOUSE!"

I quickly got off of David and went running to my room. I slamed the door shut. Phew! Close one. I went to my closet and got out my cloths. I picked out a black jeans skirt that I got from hot topic, and some white flats with a white bow. I got out my favorite black U-neck shirt. I went to the bathroom and showered.
